Bernardo Silva is finished at this level and anyone who says different is living in the land of the cuckoos !!

Feel like heads will go down and players will realize it’s a ridiculously hard uphill climb just to get ExtraTime & maybe pens.

Let’s hope we score first, level it up and make a fist of it!
There will be lot's of goals, got a feeling tomorrow will be a very special night.

Absolute nonsense. He simply cannot play three games a week. Once rested, he becomes a handful for any opposition. Also, he has an excellent record against Real Madrid, so expect at least 45 minutes tomorrow.

Ederson
Khusanov Dias Ake Gvardiol
Stones Nico
Foden Marmoush Savinho
Haaland

Don’t know if he will play 5 defenders but I think it could work in shutting down their front three again, their goals last week were just sloppy mistakes easily could have been avoided. Early goal and we’re right back in it, we’re on form after Newcastle and I just get this funny feeling that we can do this. Come on City!!
I also feel that we can do it, but disagree with your assessment of last week. We should have been dead and buried within 15 minutes. 'more of the same' won't cut it in the Bernebeu

Accepting they fact that they deserved to beat us, they were nevertheless lucky to. The rest of their last 5 games have seen just one win, with one loss.
Both of these were against teams in a La Liga relegation battle.
if you didn't know we were talking about RM that wouldn't be a scary record, would it?

Madrid still have one of the best counter attacking styles in the world. Don't underestimated that.

I expect it will be very tough battle in their stadium.

From what Ancelotti has said, they'll look to counter attack us knowing it worked well in the first leg and they have the goal advantage. Rudiger is fit to start, Haaland needs to leave absolutely everything on him first opportunity he has and send that fucker back to the treatment room.

Pep's taking the pressure off the team and piling it on Real Madrid. They're not in great form, but we know how they rise to the occasion in the CL.

We looked miles better on Saturday but this is a huge test.

Ultimately the footballing gods will work in our favour. We'll be 1-0 down in the 89th minute and equalise on the night before levelling the tie in the 93rd minute and winning it in the 96th as the Bernabeu sits in stunned silence.

I don't think this team will let their heads sink. We have to score twice anyway. If they score it just means that's only enough to take it to extra time. We've got options on the bench now and will be boosted by the result and performance on Saturday. There have been numerous times in recent years where the pressure has been on and the team have delivered an exceptional performance. Sometimes it's complete domination, other times it's digging in through adversity to get the result. If we're 2 goal down on aggregate then the shackles come off, there's nothing to lose at that point and it might be a positive rather than a burden.

The gameplan for both teams is quite obvious I think. Ancelotti will recognise our threat on the ball and look to stay compact and counter, knowing we need to score. Pep will recognise their threat on the counter and look for us to be patient rather than too expansive.
