PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don't know why any City fan would go on there unless they are well prepared enough to counter the child-like arguments of Carragher and Neville. I mean, really, everyone knows what is going to happen. Prepare properly or don't go on, for Christ's sake.
That show is an utter bore fest, Carragher and Scholes have the personality and intelligence of a sloth on sleepers.

The only City fan that has handled those two well was Big Steve, he destroys them with wit and satire.

This was an interesting discussion. The most worrying thing, though, was that the **** Jordan and @slbsn were agreeing. Should we be happy or very, very worried? :)

Very different tone….

115 was wrong
Clubs behind the mess
Masters out of his depth

Desperate for Stefan to give them the headline of “Masters must go!”

The trouble is that most of the people who go on these shows are also thick.
And certainly the vast majority including the city supporters haven't got a clue what they are talking about when they are discussing 115/130 allegations
I’ve given this a like because I fully get where you’re coming from, but I think thick is a bit of an unfair tag. Lack of knowledge of a particular topic doesn’t necessarily mean someone is thick. There are plenty of intelligent City fans out there who don’t know the ins and outs of this case.

Satire and wit is all well and good but it does not answer the countless unchallenged allegations that are trotted out by the morons on the show both pundits and supporters alike.

Wait until the verdict, when it goes our way the likes of Carragher will have to be very, very careful , otherwise he will be in trouble and the company he represents.

This may well become a common feature...

But those supporters are not appearing on a platform which has a very wide audience and who's main aim is to besmirch the clubs name and achievements.

tbf i think if you openly speak on a subject that you know very little about and give pass your opinion of as fact on national tv or in a public arena without any real facts or knowledge then its a fair to say those people are a bit thick, whats the old saying its better to remain quiet and be thought an idiot than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

If/when we are found innocent, Carragher will simply double down and start with the ‘brown envelope’ nods and winks.

His employers let him do and say whatever he likes. Hopefully he talks himself into trouble one day but I won’t hold my breath.

If everyone on this forum stuck to that sentiment we would still be on page 1 of this thread.

Good I hope he does, because if he does he will be fired and facing legal action.

I remember Mike Summerbee was doing the derby on SKY once. I don’t think he got invited back.
He gave it to them. Blue through and through that bloke. Even his daughter is married to a die hard blue. I’m sure Mike wouldn’t have allowed it had he been red.

What's that got to do with the topic we are discussing.
For a club involved in a tragedy and whose fans were utterly disgusting and the consequential ban for English clubs set back our football over a decade, I find the attitude of the likes of Carragher incredible, when he is claiming his club has some moral high ground in the football pecking order.

People living in glass houses should not be throwing stones.

They have already done irreparable damage to the clubs reputation.
They haven’t tbf. We’re still attracting big sponsorship deals with major companies.

Most of what the media write is about clicks. They’re not interested the truth. It doesn’t bring in great amounts of revenue. This case was manna from heaven for them
