PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Ian Herbert has crossed a very big line today in his Daily Mail column.

Stated City and their Abu Dhabi sponsors are deliberately manufacturing deals disguised as commercial sponsorship.

Can't believe any back bench lawyer would have passed that one off.

Absolutely actionable and City should finally take this twunt out.

Goes in to state Abu Dhabi are deliberately set on destroying the perfect Premier League eco-balance.
He’s got so much form it’s unbelievable. Such a deserving case for our attention.

Violence is never the answer and gives them more publicity and clicks.....what will really hurt these scumbag journalists is City being cleared of the allegations.

After 5 years of their lies, sensationalism plus being a spokesman/mouthpiece for the Cartel what else are they going to be able to write about and who is going to reward them financially !!
We could withhold the cakes.

It wont make a blind bit of difference in how the club is reported on, the narrative will just change a little.
It will still be City are a state funded club
Empty Seats
Smaller than Spurs/Villa or Leeds
Peps a cheque book manager
We are a nothing club without the takeover.

All that will disappear is the word cheats and 115.
Yep and I DONT CARE one iota.
They can’t stop us winning.
They can’t stop us being a great club.
They can’t stop the big blue machine.

I get why you would say and it is a noble thing to say but quite simply sometimes a lesson can only be taught through sheer force as unpalatable as that may be.
It’s not our way though is it.
When the press box was ‘invaded’ after the Watford cup final it was a full on hate fest against Manchester City afterwards and not a threat or punch was thrown.
Compare that with, when, a decision goes against one of the media darlings and one, or often many, huge fans make death threats against officials or opposition players - then of course it’s a depressing insight into society today with no mention of the clubs involved.

The ideal solution would be to move the press area to the south stand - Martin Samuel can sit just behind Pep though.

Just one successful action against a big media operator is required. A lot of media organisations are in a difficult moment because of plunging revenues. A financial blow to one of them would send a message to the industry. We have been terrible at protecting our reputation.
We’re stuffing the PL financially through legal challenges. Let’s do the same to one of these media outfits
