PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've said before that Conn hasn't written about us for a few years, despite the PL charges and the APT hearings. I doubt that's accidental. I'd like to think we've had a stern word, possibly even taken legal action.

I have no problem with journalists criticising us but I do have a problem in them slandering us, and there are remedies for that. Herbert has just repeated Wallace's article, so it's not even an original thought, but neither has any basis in truth and if we let them go then we deserve everything we get.

Even if we do something privately that's not enough. It's about time we made an example of someone, and publicly.

The club are clearly aware of the media treatment PB and yet us fans are unaware of any actions taken against the type of articles mentioned above.

TH has said in the past that we do have "words with offending parties" where we feel the line has been pushed beyond the " acceptable levels ", in our own quiet way, although the criticisms and attacks clearly continue.

Do you think that City are waiting for the results of the APT and 115 decisions, which hopefully provide the confirmation of the legitimacy of our dealings, before going on a major kick back to the media who have done so much to besmirch and cause reputational damage to the club ?

I fully understand that there is unlikely to be any change with regard to the court of public opinion amongst the supporters of other clubs who due to jealousy are keen fot anything which undermines our standing.

I sincerely hope that there are no women or children in your life whom you teach lessons to by force and fear of violence.
i think you are taking me a bit literally and well done to you for doing so, it was not meant in that context, ian herbert however is neither a woman or a child, he is a fully grown man who is in full possession of his faculties and seemingly is not remotely interested in reasonable discourse or fair and honest discussion and when those are taken away, where does that then leave you, for it to just carry on regardless with no consequence?

We’ve been a door mat for years and we’ve been obliterated in the PR war.

I truly hope we’ve been keeping our powder (very) dry for the day we win the 115 and have a list of wrong ‘uns for our lawyers to hunt down and dismember.

Enough of the holistic stuff.
It wont make a blind bit of difference in how the club is reported on, the narrative will just change a little.
It will still be City are a state funded club
Empty Seats
Smaller than Spurs/Villa or Leeds
Peps a cheque book manager
We are a nothing club without the takeover.

All that will disappear is the word cheats and 115.

Apparently Arsenal are a non-Gulf club but their biggest sponsor is the Emirates airline from the UAE. Totally bizarre and dishonest article.
They’ve always been happy to take the Emirati wedge while claiming purity and poverty, the hypocritical cunts

your probably right, but i could handle those types of comments, im not arsed about them, they are just born out of jealousy, but being called cheats does bug me. So being cleared once and for all is all im hoping for.....and if that day comes when we are cleared, then i hope we (the club) gets its revenge on all these fuckers who have slandered our name these last god knows how many years!!

Just one successful action against a big media operator is required. A lot of media organisations are in a difficult moment because of plunging revenues. A financial blow to one of them would send a message to the industry. We have been terrible at protecting our reputation.

Yes, I believe the club react when they think it is necessary, and it will have an impact, as it has with Conn.
Another was that one who said that the club had used the illness of Savid Silva's son in the media as a marketing tool, never heard of him since.

Violence is never the answer and gives them more publicity and clicks.....what will really hurt these scumbag journalists is City being cleared of the allegations.

After 5 years of their lies, sensationalism plus being a spokesman/mouthpiece for the Cartel what else are they going to be able to write about and who is going to reward them financially !!
What about violence whilst wearing an old Chelsea top ;)

Today's Daily Mail Ian Herbert column.

I've had it with that bastard. Have sent it to Soriano.
Do you think he will see if Lord Ps team think immediate action is legally wise?
By that I mean is it better as part of an example of evidence for future legal action.

However imagine that against Chelsea in the Abromovic era.
