Not looking good for the scrubbers

It's the same old story, playing terrible on the pitch so they blame it on the Glazers & the interest on the debt. It's weird how this interest doesn't affect them giving Rashford & Sancho contracts at £350k a week or spending £70m on a horse shit strikers in Hojland

Always look at their cashflow statement when they release quarterly results. In the 3 months to December they had negative cashflow from operations of just over £55m. That's before any transfer or financing activities. Their net cash outflow over the 3 months was nearly £115m after those payments and receipts for outgoing transfers.

They balanced that with £80m proceeds from the sale of shares, presumably from Scruffy Jim buying yet more shares. So basically he's propping them up while they're haemorrhaging cash.

Their £300m overdraft is being heavily used as well, with them using £215m of it up to December. If they carry on being cash negative to the same extent, they'll be using a lot more this current quarter. Can't wait for their Q3 accounts.

No European football next season is really going to hurt them badly, if they aren't already heading for the rocks this season. Ocean Finance will be licking their lips.
They will be handed the Europa league.

All their eggs are now in that basket.

A bit like us being blamed for the incompetence of the PL and it's directors.

£520m ish in debt mate. The billion is what they’ve spent on their debt.
They're over a billion in debt according to their accounts. That £520m is just the secured borrowing, which is the loans taken out by the Glazers to finance the purchase of the club.

On top of that there's an overdraft standing at £215m at the end of December (and probably higher currently) and they owed £477m to creditors, much of which will be transfer debt.

I make that over £1.2bn of debt.

"United's going down with a billion out the bank..."
I've hear it say rags were bought by glazers in the same way people buy houses with a mortgage - I'm not aware of anyone who has had a mortgage for 18 years and have ended up owing nearly a million quid more, I thought the idea with a mortgage was to pay it off at some time? ha ha ha ha

413 million transfer debt at the last count.
And they are desperate to get rid of those players.

They’ve £100m or so in cash. I get the overdraft being added in by you but I can’t make it work out as debt over £600m or so.

You can’t include the creditors without also including their assets (the players that £400 odd million is owed on)

They said they would pay it off by selling shares on the NYSE, but that money went into their pockets.

Please somebody call them out and ask to see their books.

I smell Bullshit with the released clubs Latest revenues statements
but United said club debt increased from £506.6m to £515.7m because of "unfavourable" exchange rate changes.

Every fucker knows that the debt is double what they are releasing in the accounts.
If United are not cooking the books I will show my arse in Piccadilly Gardens. It's Cheating, then they call out Manchester City to deflect the crime that is so clear and under our noise.

When we win the 115 charges I hope to God we go after them first, Khaldoon Al Mubarak has to ask the question
Show us your Books and let's see how clean you really are

As I've said numerous times already, apparently the main reason Qatar pulled out was because during the due diligence phase, despite them undoubtedly engaging the services of the very best forensic accountants and auditors available, after 6 months of scrutinising their accounts they simply couldn't get a clear picture of united's finances and actual levels of debt.

And yet the PL are quite happy to accept whatever fantasy figure the club briefly wave under their nose when it comes to FFP/PSR compliance.

Spot on..

Fudge the figures all you like it's not going away, Why would anybody with half a brain want to buy United ?
it's not a valuable asset for investors and the Debt is about a 3rd of the whole cost of United's value for the keys

Why on earth do the people running the Premier League and the FA let this happen to one of its clubs BUT want's to stop Manchester City, It's very bad business and wrong for football they all shout hahahah

The question is, IF football and the Premier League had to finish tomorrow ? how many clubs/owners would be in deep trouble with the banks,

Surely the fact that was either stupid or ill informed or egotistical enough to take the job in first place does actually automatically qualify him for being a shit manager though?

Any non-shit manager wouldn't have touched the job with a bargepole.
Its the thought of maybe he could be the ONE that turns it around ...........how many clubs up and down the land do you look at and think you wouldnt touch with a bargepole but people will go in anyhow.

Honestly the golden Carrot is that the person who does turn it around and gets them a title will go down as a legend ..........you only have to look at Klopp to see that.
