Annoying though it is, Amorim would be a scoop. Whether the rest of the club is set up to help him succeed is another question.

Wont be long before pisscan pops his head round the dressing room door, “The United way” is mentioned and the fans will be bemoaning why Ruud wasn’t given the job.

Ultimately you can’t polish a turd.

The sacking of Ten Haag (and his staff) and the payment of a buyout clause for a new manager must create further PSR issues for the Rags.
They'll get creative with their accounting, you know like we have but without 115 charges

I'm sure the PL will find a Mpox loss allowance for just them.

You have to laugh at the "Amorim is the man to turn united around" shit in the media. Ten Hag came from a second tier league where he'd been successful, but couldn't hack it in the world's top league. He actually made them worse.

Amorim may have done well in Portugal, but the Portuguese league is just below the Eredivisie in the UEFA rankings. There's three teams who dominate it and if you manage one of those, your chance of success is that much higher. Let's hope he's as successful as Poundland Pep (of blessed memory).

Amorim is a good coach but is desperate to be in the PL. Was twerking for the West Ham job not too long ago. Left the team to fly to London when his team was in the title race in April. He had to apologize for it.

Would not want such a thirsty dude at my club. Man United can have him. If he has success, he will jump ship to manage a bigger club if opportunity knocks.
