Good lately, When? Seems to be constantly injured. Granted, he isn’t an immediate priority but having attackers who just don’t score is one of the big problems imo.
In his last 2 appearances he was the best player on the pitch in both games. Ok one was Salford but in both games he was getting his head up and picking the right passes. Beating players is the easy bit for him.

You say about Madrid not being concerned about him. Well, i’ll take a shot in the dark here and guess they’d be more worried by him than Bernardo out wide last night and a fullback trying to push up when he could. Sure it was Doku that helped get us back into the home leg against them when he came on last season.

You need players in the squad who might not start away at Madrid but can come in and open up a stubborn mid-table side or find a moment of magic in a tricky away cup game

Mahrez was excellent at that exact job, and got respectable minutes, goal and assists across all comps every year as a result. Doku could very well play that role for us

Should be pushing for consecutive starts and playing out the full 90 minutes in the coming weeks. Sterling also had problems when he first arrived, but late in his second season he was regularly playing full games. Expect Doku to start showing that now.

His unpredictability is his biggest strength in my opinion, but 99% of the time he has no idea where the ball is going once he’s got it and so Haaland doesn’t move and there’s no understanding or synchronicity between them. That hasn’t improved whatsoever since he arrived and I haven’t seen any signs of it improving.

Another issue is that he can’t stay fit. So pushing for consecutive starts probably won’t happen.

Well Mahrez was never ever injured, Doku can't play two games without getting hurt unfortunately.

He is another is as bad as the rest. Impact sub at best when chasing. Point or win.
Waste of time when 3 down to Madrid

his lack of goal-scoring is the main issue, he is a terrific dribbler and very hard to get off the ball. If he can contribute 10 goals , i would keep him

Exactly. Why were people and the commentators saying they couldn’t understand why City hadn’t changed it at HT.
Well it was only 2-0 at half time, I didn't expect a comeback but maybe a bit of a reaction (silly me), or if you're not going to make subs at least change that shitty system, or bring on the "non impact subs" he brought on in the 77th minute much earlier, just anything other than standing there and doing fuck all while we were getting battered which is what he did.

All fart no poo. Good 1v1, not so good at everything else. Considering how little his 1v1 actions lead to actual goal scoring chances its simply not good enough.
Be doing very well to pick anyone out today in that set up. Couple of times where he did Marmoush and Foden fucked it
