He's made some good tackles on Diaz and won us the ball back in the centre of the field a few times.

Not perfect no, but have the senior pros been any better? It is harsh to single him out.

And therein lies the problem. He gets muscled off the ball every time he plays and often as not it then ends up in our net. It’s a design flaw that can’t be rectified and it’s mind blowing that Pep keeps selecting him, expecting something different

To be fair, Diaz has been him look semi decent, so he’ll continue to stay in the team and be non existent defensively.

That’s why Gvardiol hardly gets any stick. Not been great defensively but has scored some big goals for us
