PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

That's spooky, this morning I was in ASDA Eastlands in the frozen food section and who should walk around the corner ? only the top man himself, Ferran Soriano, you couldn't miss him, he's about 7 foot tall. I asked him "any update big man on the 115 situation". The blood drained from his face, he replied in his best catalan, with a haunted look in his eyes...

"Qualsevol idea d'on són els dits de peix, em torna boig la manera com segueixen movent la maleïda secció de peixos..."

Espero que hagi trobat els dits de peix
….

Lawyers always think they've won (sort of). Seems to be a requirement of being a good one that you totally believe in your case.

You have to believe in your case, your are employed to argue it! But in my experience lawyers tend to lean on the side of negativity and caution behind the scenes. In the cases I've been involved in (non-criminal) there have been plenty of times I've been confident on certain elements but a lawyer has been less so. What appears to the layman as cut and die can appear to a lawyer as a risk. If City are expressing confidence behind the scenes it will be based on a debrief of the strength of the evidence against us and the questions from the panel. You get a good idea of what has made them think and whether you've argued it successfully. But you can never be certain.

My Catalan isn't what it was, but sounds like he's saying we'll be playing Grimsby next year.
