PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Fucking sick of all this negative shit around us. Just send us to the national league and we’ll start again. Pep at Boundary Park bring it on
Nah fuck that shit!
We shall fight in the courts, we shall fight in the football grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the chippy, we shall never surrender!!

He spoke about it at the FT Football Business conference today.

Interesting that he's consistently given a platform at UK events to denigrate England's most successful club of the past 15 years, despite clearly having an ulterior motive in doing so. Revealing that so much of our media is, despite that fact, so eager to lap up what he says.

The way his comments are being reported suggests he may be unhappy with the way CFG operates. Unfortunately he and others who pushed for the introduction of legal and financial restrictions borrowed from the corporate world didn't think there could be workarounds that have been established in that context that would operate in football. Interactions between intra-group companies are a prime example.

I'll be very disappointed if City haven't been quite meticulous in obeying the general rules in that area. If we have, then I can't see we have much to worry about. And the obvious retort would be: not quite as clever as you thought you were, eh, Mr Cuntychops, so jog on now.

He alleges that City hide losses in other companies, presumably CFG.
Forbes alleged the same thing a few years ago but their article was taken down within the hour when they learned that CFG made losses in the US from businesses that Forbes missed in reading their accounts. CFG took over a loss making 5-a-side league for example.

What City fans have every right to be annoyed at, to a certain extent... Is in the reporting of the 'breaking news' that isn't breaking news(if this complaint was filed in 2023). Sly and the likes should have consequences from OFCOM for it but they wont and they know they wont. I don't want to hear any excuses for them, even if the small print vaguely goes on to explain that the breaking news is not actually for what the headline suggests. Why does anyone accept that as an excuse? Like the headline doesn't matter. It's one of the most important parts of a news item.

Just like 'its now 130'(so they must be guilty, amiright lads? ;) ) wasn't breaking news. It is so obvious they are leading the readers of said headline to a conclusion from the off, enforcing a certain mindset. Because they can't have them wavering now, can they? The masses might actually start questioning the accusation and the motive for it.

Interesting how Jabba the hut turns out every time the rebel alliance ‘City’ looks like winning a war.
Thankfully, the ‘City’ empire is ready to strike back and is looking to win the latest war.
Jabba, you fat, pathetic, useless, delusional slug will feel the Force.
