There is definitely a lack of confidence in the UK media. Whether it is based on anything other than fear of being wrong is not clear. The narrative has changed to “the PL can’t prove their allegations” Apparently it is all our fault for having good lawyers. A bit like the false time barred narrative at CAS which ignored the Judges’ comments stating there was “no evidence” eleven times.

The good lawyers argument does the premier leagues lawyers a disservice. They both have good very expensive and competent lawyers. The key difference seems to be city actually listen to theirs whereas the premeir league disregard and do their own thing such as the initial press release etc.

Tebas said it in the lobby not on stage when he rambled on about Google, Cloudfare and piracy. Some other bits were interesting particularly the Boehley session. And there was an excellent session with the data guys which had these charts
