The hose wanting him probably haven’t watched him play this season (not required to watch) but kudos to Bayern to standing up to him. He is dragging the contract and Bayern as a club have shown who is the boss


Plus he is 30 and will be in decline so no more big name experimentation on big wages ,could be our Casemiro
 
When I saw this news initially I was ecstatic.. Pep can finally get him back! But then I thought about it for a bit longer and was reminded that we're in the mess we're in this season largely due to how much older our squad is now and I just can't see City signing a 30 year old. He'd want a 3-4 year deal and I think we've been a bit too burned to consider it is my guess.

In an ideal world every player would be Fernandinho and still looking 25 at 35, but it just isn't the case for most and Kimmich started playing regular first team football at 18. He's not a forward so maybe that isn't quite as big of a deal, but he has a ton of miles on his tires and we'd probably be smart to steer clear.

Im expecting Ederson KDB Gundogan, Walker, Nunes, Phillips, then maybe 2 or 3 of Bernardo, Kovacic Grealish, Stones to go. So 8 possibly 9 out.
Means we’ll need a keeper , 2 midfielders and a full back presuming 8 go. If we want any more 9 would need to go but the 4 or 5 in would need to be a mixture of homegrown and non homegrown so vey much doubt it would be 2 right backs.
 
His performances have been really good this year. Always a risk to go for someone on the wrong side of 30. He's an excellent player still but idk if the club goes for him.
 
Good player but for me he is too old to move to the prem
He would be another gundo
Time to move for players who will improve not ones who have peaked
 
I know we are on a rebuild of young players but we also need experience,winners and a player that can play 4 different roles great on the ball and a fantastic footballer. It's a no brainer get it done before another top European club does. Madrid barca psg arsenal dippers will all be making offers not to mention what the Saudis will be throwing at him.

Fair point but he's played at the highest level.

I genuinely believe if you want a player ready from the prem standard buy from Germany. Ok Bayern normally dominate the league but its still very competitive.

Players we've signed from Germany; Haaland, Akanji, Gundo, KDB, Dzeko, DeJong, Kompany, Ortega, Sane, Gvardiol.

As part of a potential young squad rebuild where we are moving on our experienced players? This could be a shrewd signing in that sense. Also he's Rico Lewis x10.

I’m not suggesting moving all our experienced players out, I don’t think many of them will go at all tbh. We’ve gone with Gonzalez and we have Rodri, we need players in CM that can hurt teams going forward now ie attacking central midfielders. I don’t doubt he’s better than Rico Lewis who I don’t think is good enough to play in big games for us, but we need a new first choice solid right back for now and the future, I don’t think Kimmich is even a strong right back option for now.
