Free transfer so big signing fee and big wages. 30 years old. Not good enough for us as a right back (& I know Nunes is playing there now!) . Not a specialist DM, we already have Rodri and Gonzalez & we need some pace & creativity in the middle now.

He’s just turned 30, Gundo is 34. Gundo when 30 was a beast for us.

And let’s be honest renewing with a team and taking a huge wage drop never happens. Taking a pay cut to go to a new team because that’s the offer does all the time.
Re signing Musiala and signing Wirtz is their financial priority right now. Sane will also leave on a free.

This squad is full of experience and leaders. It needs pace, pressing ability and a rebuild for the future not as a plaster for right now for a year or 2.
Gundogan is/ was a totally different player he was about setting the tempo and contributing goals and assists. A proper 8. Kimmich is not that player. We don’t need anyone else for the midfield who can’t contribute big G/A numbers. And as a right back he isn’t good enough for what we’d need.

I'd guess it would need to be instead of Cambiaso, so depends how we feel about that, suspect we'll go for the younger player.

I think we can afford to may him his current salary of 375 Euros especially considering he's on a free, I imagine a chunk would be bonus related. Bernardo and Jack are on £300K plus bonus so it's not like we're not used to paying this.

I would imagine he'd be on a lower wage than 400k per week with us but we'd make up for it with a decent signing on fee.
Not convinced by the link anyway, how many slots for non-association trained players have we got available assuming at least 5 of Walker, Stones, Grealish, McAtee, JWE and Phillips are probably off?
