Starmer has a good opportunity to use Brexit to our advantage and act as buffer zone between Trump and the EU.

I don't think his meeting with EU leaders today was a coincidence.

Doesn't stop me thinking Starmer is an authoritarian ****. So maybe him and Trump have some workable common ground that could be used for the economic benefit of the UK.
 
I remember thinking back in the day, somewhat naively, how does Blair shift from Clinton to a total wingnut like Bush II. As it turned out the transition was seamless, he didn't even have to squirm into that flight jacket.


Add into that riding into power at the high point of neo-liberalism and it's clear as day that the cards are stacked against Starmer. That said fuck him and his outriders...

Seriously, Starmer needs to issue a statement similar to those above and Trudeaux. It should be a no brainer, but I don't think Starmer quite has the bottle (that may not be a bad thing - I don't know).

Exactly how I’d put it, but probably add a nod to Zelenskyy’s an absolute chum, and the likes of Trump and his esquire are reprehensible cads.
