I think we all need to careful with this though. There is a definite admiration of Putin right across the MAGA spectrum, not just in the mind of The Donald and that's the bit people forget.

Putin, possibly the actual richest man in the world, enforces policy that MAGA supporters dream will take them back to some fabled time of yore.

MAGA supporters believe that they wrap themselves in the flag, suggesting they are the true patriots. This is where the parallels with Brexit are clear, in that MAGA supporters completely reject the modern world in general and modern America, in particular. It despises diversity, workers rights, women's rights, minority rights, permissiveness in general (only if it's out in the open, obviously) whilst harking back to times past. Times past where Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, women and children all knew their place and were all in awe of white men. Men worked and drank and lived a life, women had children and stayed at home, everyone went to church on Sunday, there were no floods or disease and the sun shone everyday.

Putin already lives this dream via his 'traditional values' whilst clearly also hating the modern world. In Russia, LGBTQ is banned, feminism is banned, equal rights are banned, abortion is banned and domestic violence is not longer a criminal offence.

So, whilst its tempting to imagine Trump's followers only love Putin because Trump seems to, the truth is likely far more complex and suggests that MAGA will not be dying away when the Donald has finished his carnage..

There is no way that Trump is going to defend Europe if Putin attacks. Not a fucking chance. He’s not criticised Putin once since February 2022. He described the invasion as very smart. He’s repeatedly lied about who started the war as well as Zelensky. He’s not once spoken negatively about Russia’s involvement.

He’s not going to get into a conflict with Russia under any circumstances. It’s utterly inconceivable he would.

People (not you) need to wake up to reality here and see what’s going on, and quick.

Its becoming more obvious day by day that Trump is a Russian agent. Ive also noticed a few more so called lucky shots to ships carrying weapons and shooting ranges hmmmm Does it mean that the Americans cant be trusted? Something stinks here....

It’s combined with the political it’s hard to keep up with military operations we rely on Spider and Scotti CTID1977 as there is very little news on line, X is full of Russian Trolls.

Seem to recall Johnson and Truss arguing that a Trump victory will protect European security and Ukraine.

That’s aged well.
