To be honest I don't mind some American stuff.
Love Elvis (he really was "something else" in his early days), plus other American musical artists too.
It's just that I feel that we have been far too politically aligned. Culturally too. I get it...we were once a world power and that disappeared decades ago. So we rely on them. Which is why we have joined them on those military jaunts that they so love.
