Except it isn't 1 bloke on the internet, it's many, all independently saying the same thing after witnessing it with their own eyes.

Go check out the foden performance thread and see the numerous other posts that have witnessed the same thing. Last I'll say on it on this thread, don't want to continue to derail the laughing at united.
OK many blokes on the Internet and maybe some women. Fair play let's stick to laughing at utd.

It’s all well and good when the press are blowing smoke up your arse when you’re successful, trouble is with those cunts they still get smoke blown up their arses when they are shite , and they can’t tell the difference, they are a club without a backbone , the opposite of City , we graft on the pitch and are humble , with a humble fanbase and manager.
Is it no surprise that they go decades without winning titles ? We’ve had three title winning managers in the past 13 years - theyve had three noticeable ones since their inception as a club - no fucking structure , just a massive fucking ego.
They’re a jumped up fucking outfit , they’re the spice girls with bollocks.
More like the Beverly Sisters.....and NO bollocks !!

I hear the new stadium is going to be announced next week. And, guess what, it's being funded by Middle Eastern money. I think the tie-up is with Emirates but may have mis-heard.

Anyone looking at buying a business will look at various factors
  • Assets
Land owned > Seems they own some land around the stadium
Facilities > Old Trafford & Carrington
For a football club Squad > say no more
Key Executives > mainly unproven and the football management is struggling to say the least
  • Debt
Over 1B as far as stated in public
  • Brand
Still quite valuable but living in the past
  • Income
Generate a good amount of revenue but, with the onfield form this has peaked for now
  • Potential
    Without huge investment very limited
  • Outlook and Trends
Outlook isn't good with a year on year decline
Tends Again a clear decline with poor investment in the key asset
  • Cost
To purchase a majority of shares then looking at the market value of $2.45B which is a 27% year on year decline
    Squad development would need £500M
Infrastructure new or developed stadium would be >£3B
  • Current Owners
Will they be cooperative in selling? > Judging by recent one then no
  • Limitations
Squad investment would be hampered by PL financial regulations
  • Outlook
Unless they can win the Europa League then desperate

So, to summarize unless a cash-rich multi billionaire wants a trophy asset then they aren't very attractive
Just one correction needed in your excellent post.
The last paragraph should read.....
'Unless a multi billionaire wants a trophyless asset'

At the moment though PSR is extended into the 25/26 season...which is why next season is even more critical to them.

I assume, as per yourself and another repliee, that 26/27 will see a complete removal of any financial limitations of losses, due to 'the rules are not working as intended'.
On next seasons PSR calculation they will be losing the best season they've had in recent years which was a 29m loss.

The rags never planned or foresaw their demise, they always thought they would just carry on winning cups after the govan piss can left and never realised what problems they had off and on the pitch….with all the other Premier League clubs now competing due to all the huge amounts of cash about and investments.

They dropped the ball big time and never saw the bigger picture, now they need a huge overhaul top to bottom without the luxury of being able to borrow or spend whatever is required.

We’ve not got everything right recently (just look at this season’s decline on the pitch due to recent poor recruitment and certain players getting older) but our hierarchy are more than capable of rectifying this.

Just remember the relentless piss take we’ve had to suffer from those ‘entitled’ twats in stretford over the past 4 decades.

Fuck em…..
It was Arabic braille Helen Keller could decipher (:

Anyone outside of that institution could see that the evolution of clubs like our own, would challenge the status quo of the best seller ‘how to run football clubs for dummies’

I’ve said this copious times to rag mates, the corner shop was a mainstay to how we shopped, then it wasn’t because corporate entities understand diversification; United had a one dimensional model and never forecast variables beyond the pisscan, let alone business minded organisations who deal in the billions across multiple platforms; they stood still where as sure as eggs are eggs, our code doesn’t compute the same algorithm…

Down times? Case in point this season, but financial mismanagement on that scale? Ludicrous

I do wonder if being Jewish the Glazers would be reluctant to sell to an Arab

There was also a story that Sheikh Jassim pulled out after some due diligence

Recent rumors that he is back in and talking to Ineos probably bull as being traded on NYSE any talks would require to be notified
Being Jewish wouldn't stop them selling if the money was right. Not a chance in hell they wouldn't sell. The issue is nobody would be daft enough to nake a good offer.

There's no such thing as religion, race, nationality, caste, creed, colour when it comes to business and making money.
