North Stand Construction Discussion

I'm sorry, but that bit, is just not true.

Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't. Depends on the quality of the visual, depends on the quality of the build, depends on the timing and how much is known or resolved when.

I really do respect opinions and people's dislike of stuff and their saying so. Zero issue with that.

But if you or others are basing it on the fact that you anticipate the finished thing to look worse than an in itself a not great render, you might be at least partly off track.

Don't particularly disagree with anything else you said, as such. Well apart from the claim that there aren’t many new hotels in Britain that are particularly architecturally good looking.
Beetham Tower is a residential-hotel hybrid and looks stunning.

Can't they loosen the legs and jiggle them about into place whilst the cap is on top of the legs? ;-)

It reminds me of putting an IKEA wardrobe together.

A fucking nightmare.

‘If’ it is a case of it not fitting due to the angles, the only way I can see to secure it is to remove the plates highlighted in yellow. 3 of the 4 legs could then be bolted up. The other half of the cross connections on that leg could also be secured.

How the hell you would support those plates when reattaching them is another matter?!

I’m not sure it looks that great nowadays, didn’t the windows start falling out?!
I think they did. And it also sometimes screeches when the wind blows. But it's still a stunning building. Those are design problems but they don't alter its look.

I'm sure CP would give us that snippet of the footage at normal pace, then we can take it to VAR and plot some offside lines on it!

88 videos , 1,348 minutes (22.5 hours).

Filmed a whole lot more, today for example i had nearly 3 hours of footage and only ended up using nearly 40 minutes worth

Right, so I've watched 22.5 hours of the stand being built ;) and that's not even including SSskies vidos. Geez.

Top commitment btw CP and SS.

The Tolerances on that look to be very tight for something so large, never manage that in my factory,
