Bebe. Don't didn't cost much .....7 M ? ...but was the worst footballer ever to play for any team in top level football ,anywhere ,lol
 
4-0 Arsenal for me. Arsenal will play the kids against PSV whereas Rags have only the Europa to save their season. It's our duty to recall all those moments when United kicked the hell out of our players and make sure we put them in the worst possible mood for Sociedad on Thursday so that their miserable season is finally killed off for good.

I'm probably wrong but wasn't there rumours at the time that the Portuguese club that he was 'playing' for were offering him to the rags for cheaper than 7m, but for some odd reason (ho-ho!) Gill and the Pisscan insisted on paying over the odds for him?
I know the Pisscan admitted he'd never heard of him before and only met him the day before he signed.

His transfer should have been looked into a little more thoroughly.

Was the pisscan's son Bebe's agent?

If so, that would explain a lot.

You know what I sat for hours trying to work that out.... every combination of words that could fit that TLA, stargely enough, no matter how hard I tried that particular combination didn't come anywhere close to my thinking.

So the story with the Bebe signing was that it included a big payment as a thank you to a certain Portuguese agent who caught wind that a certain Portuguese winger - who may or may not have been taking PEDs at the time -was going to get drug tested and warned a certain Portuguese assistant manager so they pulled him out of the squad with a shoulder injury for a while (maybe he did injure it moonlighting as a Michael Jackson impersonator, who knows?)
