Nottingham Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Yes, yes... Never Haaland's fault; it's player x,y, and z, etc. etc.
haaland doesn't stand a chance when we play walking football up to the halfway line then just stay there, how the fuck he supposed to make a run against a packed defence, how can he get on the end of a cross when fuck all comes into the box

Turgid
Seen faster snails than our team
Were in trouble this season for the champions league qualification
Any decent team we’ve played we’ve lost to
The manager is untouchable we all know that
That worries me

Has balls of steel. Don’t know if you noticed but he had an awkward header to make under pressure which was a carbon copy of his Chelsea mistake. Just did what he intended to do in that game with complete calmness. He’s going to be class.
Can't believe they're still harping on about that mistake. He proved he's got the potential immediately after it and has looked better and better every time I've seen him.

That is true. And some shocking comments from the pundits. Vinicius did not eat him up at the Bernanbeu.
Far from the truth.

They went onto say "Khusanov has some good bits about his game but he's very naive, He needs to watch videos of other players from this league"...Camel Gob talking out his arse again.

Other than those 5 minutes against Chelsea he's been absolutely fabulous. He's a serious player.

Well that was an insipid showing. Neither side deserved to win a tight game. City don't move the ball quickly enough znd are too predictable. Their goal was totally avoidable. It was really poor defending and goalkeeping. Gvardiol gave Hudson Odoi far too much room and a keeper should not be beaten at his near post.
Nailed it insipid exactly what I was thinking

I’m as despondent as the next Blue at the present situation.
But for me.
Pep’s football does work and it’s not finished.
You just need players who are clever hungry and technically up to it. Which we’ve had in spades over his tenure. The jury is out on the current crop.
Read match day forum, the jury has already returned its verdict

I've said this before we have to be very careful where we go from here, it really could tip either way. There are similarities to the rag side at the end of Ferguson's reign. An ageing side which was allowed to go on too long. They then spunked shit loads of money on so called proved superstars like Pogba and Sanchez and it failed miserably.
It looks like the club have started to rebuild correctly in bringing young players with loads of potential that are hungry for success

The other difference between us and the rags is that Pep will be sticking around through the transition which means we’re in safe hands

Whereas baconface fucked off and left them in the lurch , they then staggered from one manager to the next , all with differing philosophies, which has lead to their current mess

Next season will be an improvement but we may not see the next great side emerge until the season after

Sick of us losing every fucking 50 50 ...

Players pulling out of them left right and centre .....

How the fuck have we ended up with Nunes as right back an the croatian Javi Garcia as our go too

Madness
jep, specially Foden and Doku are just afraid to put a foot in on 50-50 situations and that drives me insane.

They are not playing like serial winners at the moment. I would drop Foden and Bernardo. Play Grealish central and play Echeverri. I don't care that he's 19. I want to see him play.
He’ll play but we shouldn’t rush him hitting panic button

Heard him say it, shook my head & thought he’s proved it yet again, he is an actual dick!

God almighty have we lost the over reaction is ridiculous The team is in a rebuild yet still went to team in third and dominant the game Yeah there was lots of things wrong but if City played like Forrest with a parked bus at home 30% procession week in week out the reaction on here would be worse Fingers can be pointed at Pep fro his subs but once they settled down it was fine two players went to sleep Doku and mainly Gvardiol who can’t defend he was too far away and then allowed the shot yeah Eddy, who has to cover two angles, might have done better but the shot shouldn’t have been allowed That goal wouldn’t have happened down our right with a player who knows how to defend
You are right. Forest were getting no joy down the left flank so they move their goal scorer over to the right where we are weak defensively. It worked. We need a left and right back in the summer.

True. Remind me again. Who won player of the month for February? Assuming it's one of the serial winners
wow my friend , this game is not about sprint , it’s a marathon, remember all those hardwares?
