I might be wrong but wasting hundreds of millions of pounds on bad players over a long period of time will eventually catch up. They will be in serious trouble if they keep failing to qualify for the champions league.

A 5-6 year timeline for the stadium to be built.

Basically, without the Government and tax payers paying for the freight terminal land, the new stadium won't get built.
