No backbone pure and simple - never changed from the Swales Days , Prestwich & Whitefield - Failsworth & Hollinwood had to break away and form the CSA as they wouldn’t scrape and bow to Swales and his cronies

Latest from the OSC on the current boycott/strike from City Matters reps, that a majority of 6/11 are currently sticking to - which means Kevin Parker, as OSC Representative, is the first to publicly say he won't be joining the boycott.

Withdrawing from my OSC if any money I contribute goes towards them, I've messaged my chairman to find out.

Maybe Dante can chime in here but I think I read he's meeting the SC rep this week so hopefully she'll have a stance after that meeting.

Goes without saying that if she doesn't pull out then something dodgy is going on (club plant) or she is no longer fit to do that role

The fact thousands have replied to that survey, the clear sentiment on here from SC holders and the former SC rep backing the walkout, it's inconceivable she'd not walk out right....?

And there you have it.

Instead of explaining how the OSC's decision was reached, all the OSC could offer was a sarcastic reply.

Even though I'm a member of an OSC, as far as I'm concerned the General Secretary and the OSC are too close and too entwined with the club. Until the OSC is independent of the club, the OSC will never truly represent it's OSC members and the wider City fan base.

How a OSC democracy works is this way.

At a branch meeting every two weeks, the OSC members, which I'm one of, are asked by the branch secretary if they support the City Matters Reps boycott of talks with the club or not. A hands up in the air will confirm that either way. The branch vote then gets passed on to the General Secretary of the OSC, and he informs the club. What doesn't happen is the OSC vote takes place behind closed doors and in secret, with only those attending the voting representing all the OSC members around the world.

That aside, a pathetic and sarcastic reply, regardless of the bait, pretty much sums up the
person and the people running the OSC, and their self importance and siege mentality.

This is my last season in the OSC. I'll miss the friends I've made and the great coach trips, but I can't belong to an organisation that isn't representing its members properly and honestly, and is too close to the club. That in itself is systematic and another example of the increasing rift between the club and the fans, outside of and within the OSC.

I wasn’t there tonight Cov. Had a lot of expense lately so had to catch up with work. (Self employed). There must have been a vote with the Branch heads in attendance. There’s usually a lot there for the OSC meetings.

No way the club cut their away ticket allocation over it so what's to lose?

I wonder if Alan Galley and Kevin P have been given the heads up that confirmation of the meeting on ticket prices is imminent.

All we are told is the OSC didn't vote for the boycott. Where is the transparency and accountability in that?
