Not got a fucking scooby what PB was on about saying you lot throw shit from the sidelines, I think deep down he is jealous that your group are the most positive active City group out there. Keep it up pal
Edit PS I shouldn’t be in the silent majority, how do I go about subscribing me and my 2 kids into 1894? We are Family Stand not south stand but we are noisy family stand fuckers
Thinking more poll tax Trafalgar SquareWe’ve not a Swales Out style demo at the reception of the ‘new’ ground yet. We need to break it in. Dodging out of control police horses, flying traffic cones and metal barriers.
Kevin was going to sign the letter. He was inconveniently on holiday .No surprise from me that the OSC has declined to support the City Matters boycott, think it was pretty clear from their lack of appearance on the initial open letter that they're not aligned in thought with the other fan groups, which is a great shame as you would imagine supporters branches (which are defined by geography) are about community.
For me it's pretty simple - the open letter is encouraging tickets to be more affordable and creating season tickets for new generations of City fans to the stadium, if you don't want to put your name to that sentiment that's fine but you can be expecting someone like myself to be cynical about your motivations.
You would imagine the new season ticket prices will be released next week, it was during the March international break last year, I'd say if there's ever going to be a good time for some sort of protest it would be this weekend, which I would welcome albeit I appreciate that this is quite late in the day to organise.

I was in free the 30,000 franny out, nothing to do with forward with franny - i do know the truth though, the Swales’ mum care home thing all a lie by swales, she was in a place in cheadle, secure, they paid for security from club funds but nurses confirmed no one ever came ever.
I do know who produced the leaflets outside the qpr demo though - where does swales live ? 8 bankhall rd bowdon !
They don’t, but Pep will still question the atmosphere and not even realise it’s his pals that are fucking the atmosphere overAs much as night follows day, we all really know the outcome.
City will apply the usual 5-10% increase like they have done for the last 10 years.
Fair dues to the groups protesting. But the club won't even bat an eyelid.
We've seen it so many times before, as many have said with the Istanbul fiasco.
They simply do not care.
I dented a few car bonnets (allegedly) jumping out of the way if the police horses. Looking back, Swales was probably better than Franny LeeWe’ve not a Swales Out style demo at the reception of the ‘new’ ground yet. We need to break it in. No wonder the bad times were still pretty good lolWhen City fans did protest about the way the club was being run on and off the pitch.

I suppose the fact we were bad on and off the pitch was what brought everyone together. No wonder the bad times were still pretty good lol
Flying bricks are part of our DNA, when we were relegated in 1963 the boardroom windows were bricked. And flying bricks. One that narrowly missed my head, thankfully.
Way too much common sense here for the directors to get on boardThere’s a growing movement amongst fans now about these issues right across the premier league. You can sense that in the end fans will coordinate themselves and make some noise and make at least some kind of difference.
City are in the perfect position to move in the direction the ball is travelling, not where it’s at, They have 8000 extra seats to sell and at existing models not enough demand. They have a large influx of tourists and also a large group of priced out fans.
A model could be put together which caters to the football tourist who will clearly pay for a once-off experience, but also leaves room for lower income fans. Surely there’s an answer in this new stand, pricing it cheaply and aiming it cleverly, so City get the PR of having led a seachange in match day pricing, lose the “empty seats” tag and improve the match day atmosphere- which encourages those who will pay more to come for an experience.
The people making the decisions have one job and that’s to improve the match day income, nothing else matters. Hence if City have a dozen games where there are a couple of thousand empty seats, but the rest are sold at a huge premium then its job done. I also suspect thousands of SC holders in CB and ES L1 will be offered deals to move to the new stand and their current seats upgraded to accommodate the well healed. There’s a growing movement amongst fans now about these issues right across the premier league. English fans are a big part of the “ product” and as soon as fans unite and start to damage the product action will come quickly.

A long term financial model can be built here easily.
Tim.I reckon the OSC recognised that Danny Wilson had made a genuine mistake in offering to find an urgent date for the Extraordinary General Meeting before the results of the 115/130 hearing and delays on the North Stand roof. I think given Danny’s good track record with many Blues, many Branch Secs would have accepted some leeway with the timing of when the EGM date was to be firmed up.
Rushing in to a meeting without the required data needed for the management team would have just meant the EGM would have turned into a prep meeting for another meeting. Pretty much a waste of time.
Obviously, it would have been better if all the fans reps were seen to be approaching this from the same side but in the circumstances, this was probably unrealistic.
