Not just in this case either. Who is going to invest the time and money to set up huge production chains in a country where the regulatory framework changes from one day to the next on the whims of a man baby?
 
Has Musk changed the algorithms on twitter or something? All I see top trending is right wing beliefs... Or that everyone thinks Ukraine are dangerous, zelensky is a tyrant

I do know that's why he had bought it, he is replacing traditionally left leaning legacy media with the new world and I think he wants it to be less woke, less lefty etc... but isn't anyone checking if he is abusing impartiality?

I wish I had not looked at twitter today ffs.

I binned it off a few months ago. The “for you” bit of it used to be really good as the algorithm connected other accounts that were at least remotely linked to those you were following. Suddenly, it was just all far right wing propaganda that even if I set to block kept on coming.

Real shame as I used to love Twitter. Sticking to the “following” tab was still ok but nowhere near as good as it used to be as lots left the platform.

Im happy to be not supporting any of Musks ventures tbh, regardless of missing what Twitter used to be.

These are not terrorists, they’re civilians using their democratic right.

Same (and Meltonblue below has pretty much articulated my own experience.
Started some time ago. Amongst the decent content and accounts, I'd get 'street fights' and all sorts of awful RW, conspiracy nonce shite on there. I closed and yeeted my account into a far away galaxy.

I'll miss the likes of Iamnuci tbf but hopefully he lands on another platform.

Threads is ok atm (give it time) but I'm not 100% convinced much of the content is anything I need in my life.
I'm struggling to get decent accounts on Bluesky atm but can only fit in one of these apps. Feels better detoxing from a lot of this.

FB....I don't even know what it is anymore. I post the occasional Wordle score and 'like' a pair of trainers from someone I worked with 20 years ago posted.
