If you would have treated Zelenskyy worse than Trump did, you must have been apoplectic about how he treated Netanyahu, and that he hasn't asked the Israelis and the Palestinians to compromise, and he continues to support Israel's war effort?

Let's be clear, Trump hasn't asked Putin to compromise on anything. The deal was agreed with Ukraine in Saudi Arabia without Trump, and with actual adults in the room. Putin knows this, that is why he will reach out to Trump directly.

Trump and Vance's theatrical performance in the WH has back fired. This deal has caught Trump between a rock and a hard place. Stick to the deal and piss off Putin, or don't stick to it and confirm he's Putin's puppet.

Perhaps Rubio is playing a better political game than I've gave him credit for.

Somehow, having real wealth seems to corrupt people in a way unimaginable to most people.

To be charitable for a minute, one of the most difficult things for people to do is to admit they’ve been absolutely rinsed. It’s what conmen the world over have relied on since time immemorial.
People will defend their position rather than admit they’ve been duped and it’s what allows these ‘political strongmen’ to do their worst.

Brexit, for example, was clearly a disaster but people still cling to the life raft of ‘not doing it properly’ whatever that means.
Politicians have always thrived on division and very few ever put the interests of the country and its citizens above the interests of themselves.

On the other hand, he might just be a ****…
