2nd best after Khusanov, who’d be playing there had we had any other centre backs fit.He is our best RB.

Only if the LB is attacking wide or inverted.2nd best after Khusanov, who’d be playing there had we had any other centre backs fit.
Oh sure, we need him centrally, but I was impressed with him at the Bernabeu. He even got forward into some really good positions.Only if the LB is attacking wide or inverted.
I never want to see Khusanov invert or be the wide option. I always want him at the back.
I didnt like that Pep had him doing that at Madrid.Oh sure, we need him centrally, but I was impressed with him at the Bernabeu. He even got forward into some really good positions.
Still, Nunes was fine today. Forest didn’t really attack us until he went off.
More examples of people with their minds made up seeing whatever suits them.
Nunes was fine. Marshalled Elanga well, rightly subbed off to eliminate the threat of a red after taking a yellow he had to take to stop a counter, we were poorer when he went off. Not even close to the problem today.
He's not a natural defender but he could become a defender imo. He's got all the physical attributes and he's doing well considering he's been thrown into a completely alien position. Got a great cross on him too if we ever decided that was something worth using. His rashness needs to be worked on as a priority, can't be trusted not to do something stupid on a yellow but he's working hard to do his best for the side. He's in the top 3 for assists this season despite a bit part fullback role. He's nowhere close to being in the same category as those mentioned. He simply wouldn't be playing if he was. He's not a defender in a million years, and shouldn't be playing there. He's just not good enough to be playing in any position at top level.
Not his fault though, it's down to poor scouting, planning by Txiki's team. He was simply a panic buy that hasn't paid off.
File under Kalvin Phillips, Scott Sinclair, and Jack Rodwell. Money down the drain.
If we had kept any of Couto, Kabore or Walker he wouldn't be.He is our best RB.
Give him the spot till the end of the season, with coaching and hard work he may surprise us.He is our best RB.
The same Couto who is completely flopping in Dortmund ?If we had kept any of Couto, Kabore or Walker he wouldn't be.
The same Couto who is completely flopping in Dortmund ?
That made me laugh. Great post!Yes. Because Nunes is shit.
He is a better and more natural rb than Nunes and we had him here at the start of the season so there was no financial outlay. The same Couto who is completely flopping in Dortmund ?
In fairness, he’s been injured and is adjusting to a new country and league. Were he truly ‘flopping’, I suspect Dortmund would not have triggered the clause ahead of schedule. The same Couto who is completely flopping in Dortmund ?
I suspect they didn't have a choice. For accounting purposes or whatever reason they triggered the clause but it was happening regardless. It's not because of his performances is it.In fairness, he’s been injured and is adjusting to a new country and league. Your telling me Nunez couldn’t of done the role what was asked of Gundo today?
