PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

My prediction is that, just like after Tolm's positive post we had loads of people who had mates who heard we'd won it, after Billys post were suddenly going to have an influx of people with mates who are saying that the club haven't heard.
These two sets of mates never seemed to meet before unfortunately
TH and Billy S are clearly the same person living out some Gollum like schizophrenic experience.

They aren't just accused of breaking PL rules mate, they're accused of financial fraud. They would 100% be liable to be disqualified if charges are proven.

It would be hard to think of a more serious allegation towards a company's board then what the PL are accusing ours of.
I'm not sure that the CDDA would automatically apply. Looking at other cases where Premier League club directors have been disqualified, they were either convicted of criminal or corporate offenses, or the disqualification was related to financial insolvency.

While it seems entirely plausible that City haven't received the final verdict yet, I don't think it's necessarily true that nobody at the club has heard anything from the IC since the hearing finished. There surely would've been some dialogue since then between the IC and City/the PL even if it's not to deliver the final verdict. If there had been no communication at all since December then that would mean the club are still very much in the dark about the outcome and I'm not buying that at this stage of the process.

Any rational person would review City's business as usual and conclude some level of positivity. The verdict is a separate matter. It is also highly likely that it hasn't yet been delivered simply because once it is, it will be held for a short time only.

The club are extremely tight around leaks these days.

Nobody below the likes of Khaldoon, Soriano, Comms chief and the legal team will have a clue until about 10 mins before announcement.

Everything else is speculation around how confident people seem / appear / are.

The club may also be concerned about being accused of leaking the outcome prior to any agreed date. I’m not saying the result is in but at this stage it’s just a game of wait and see. It’ll probably drop when we least expect it after days of silence.

Anyone know if this will just come out as a press release, (City win), more or less out of the Bue ,or a preplanned press conference (if we lose). So at least there will be a couple of hours notice. Just to enable me stop check in every five minutes for updates.

I’d reduce that to 3 minutes, just to be safe.

I do buy that. But the hearing itself might, if the arguments were clear-cut, give City strong insight into the expected result.
