Away from the obvious, one that sticks in my head was when we played Juve in the late 2000's i think and Del Piero was playing towards the end of his career. Wow what a player. He was head and shoulders above every player on the pitch even at that age and i always wondered how good he must of been in his pomp.

That's a game that I'll always feel privileged to have been at, Del Piero was magnificent.

Maybe not the best but I remember being very impressed with the speed & movement of Lavezzi & Cavani when we first played Napoli at home

Their front three were incredible in that game, it was unlike anything I'd ever seen, it was like they set up with a back 7 then they just got it straight up to Lavezzi, Cavani or Hamsik and they'd just run like fuck at our goal with ridiculous interchange and movement between the three. That was the best counterattack side I've ever seen and were pretty unique in the way they played it as well from what I remember.

For me, Thierry Henry from 2002-06 was the most elegant fantastic player to see in the flesh. I vividly recall the last time City met Arsenal @ Maine Road, us clapping him (& them off) at half-time.
