PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It looks pretty clear that Coventry read it as something about Conn and Schindler's religion as I did. Why the Guardian is relevant to Colin Schindler is not understood by me. But if you say that is not the case, fair enough I will delete.

I think the foremost critics of Sheikh Mansour's ownership of MCFC are not the Jewish community but British liberals who are offended by the Emirati model of government i.e., autocratic rule.
As a member of the Jewish community I can report that I have never heard any Jewish City supporter voice anything negative about the fact that the owners are Muslim .
Like all City fans they have differing opinions as to what is best for the club but they are not based on religion.

I was sure that was what it meant. I still do. Equally, I apologise if I was wrong and then I've taken it to a place that offends. As I said, I think they're just "good old days" kinda people and their religion is coincidence/irrelevant

I didn't watch it but I have never thought of JJ as a hostile journalist. His work has always focused on Man Utd because historically they were the bigger more successful club.

You also have to allow for the fact that Stefan is an expert whereas Jamie is a journalist whose main asset is the ability to research and establish contacts in the game. I think we should try to be fair and not hate on journalists per se because we are under the spotlight. Some journalists presumably went into the field because they like asking questions and like writing. That's no bad thing. Unfortunately many just opt for the easy life and question and target what is commercially most productive.
We all know that there is only one JJ and that’s @wagonman

When this decision eventually does come how do posters think it will happen?

1. An announcement the day before to say there will be joint releases of the decision at 9 am the following day?

2. A decision on the day in real time with no prior warning?

3. City and the premier league will jointly brief Gone for a Burton to release the news after his mid morning barm/muffin?

I've been sitting here quietly thinking, obviously nothing newsworthy is going on right now, if we're cleared of these chargers then we all know Masters position is untenable and he'll have to go. What sort of person do we think he is, is he going to have to be sacked or will he fall on his sword? Personally I believe he's going to have to be pushed and if he is, will he fight, blaming the red cartel for forcing him into bringing the charges? Just imagine him telling the press it was all at the instigation of the American owners, shouting it from the rooftops trying to save himself! It's only a thought and given how he bottled turning up at the Etihad for the trophy last season and unlikely one at that.

I think the latest consensus is that it's tomorrow at 9.30am, gone for a burton's shifted the goalposts

He's the so-called Manchester football journalist whose reporting of us has always had a negative slant even pre-2019 (when he can even be bothered to do so). Remember his interview technique at the press conference with Dias pre-Madrid SF in 2023. It was like Ruben was on trial for murder.

Pep openly despises him (with good reason) and all the while Paradise cosies up to the Rag managers like they're his best mates.

He's been pretty quiet until now re the charges maybe because he realised he would be out of his depth. Nonetheless he's in one of the worst journos when it comes to City and it's a crowded field. First-class twat with zero journalistic ability or credibility...and don't get me started on his novels.

Not quite sure what precisely you’re trying to say here, but seeing as you’ve foreshortened ‘cunty-bollocks’ to ‘JJ’ it’s probably not the best time to pontificate about indolence.
You're using FFS because I fore-shortened his name to JJ instead of 'cunty-bollocks'?

You're like using big words but to what effect? All you have done is show yourself to be an grand-standing idiot.

Any idea when the verdict will be out?

I have programmed a Meraki smart button to trigger an API that will play the "Boys in Blue" through the IP based tannoy system in my office. Four of the staff are rags so, if we win the case, it is going to blasted out across the entire site and they will go ballistic!

I know who he is. He's harmless.
