About 100 million people in this country has seemingly lost its fucking mind and there is going to be a big fucking backlash sooner or later!

Stefanik might be the first sign that the MAGAts are starting to see it!!

She is, but I honestly believe that she is a little unhinged too. She looks like she genuinely idolises him, in some of the videos/pictures I've seen of her, even more so than that other odd woman (who's name evades me right now) that idolises Boris Johnson.

Back to MJT, very few of the current GOP are likeable, but some like her, are truly abhorrent.
Nadine Dories?

Initially it wasn’t. It’s merely scaled back now but it’s in their country and I find it hard to believe they don’t have any say on who goes in or out.
I doubt very much the Danish government has much sway over who the U.S. military flies in and out of Thule, and even if it did, I’d be surprised if Trump would give a fuck!

This is where we are today.

I’m struggling to have much sympathy for Greenland and Denmark when they stupidly facilitate such visits. Their sovereignty is clearly being undermined but they choose to allow them in anyway.
They didn’t. It was basically a very small minority who personally invited them to an event that had nothing to do with the government.

Something that Putin would do to get his foot in the door.

How much is to do with the technical chance of losing a majority in the House?
(Technical used because all 5 would have to go to the Democrats, and some are many months away)

That’s exactly the reason. We are 19 months away from a potential comeuppance, but one wonders if it will be soon enough or big enough. Trump currently has his highest positive ratings ever!

Ugh!

are these ratings showing on the ground, or Is this more of a knee jerk nationalistic reaction to the fact that he is creating external enemies ( with the trade wars, and language used against old allies ). in times of perceived adversity the leaders of counties tend to get a popularity bump.

Deporting people, Canada is our enemy and hates the US, Europe is freeloading on our poor, little country blah, blah - so yeah they’re huffing their own supply, which given half the country is whacked out on fentanyl and stupidity is no surprise.

And the half of the world that didn’t hate the US and Americans in general - and yes I know that is unfair - will join the half that loathes them. Ironically, this will mean we finally have something in common with Russia.

And while I’m happy to pop in for weekly round up of the latest round of stupid, I can’t say I care. I stopped caring over their weird fetish for guns and shooting up schools. That and they fact a lot of them are Christian nut jobs.

My one immediate concern is Ukraine and hoping that Europe finally stops talking about a common defence force and finally commits to it with the UK fully on board.

Additionally, the UK will need to look at its nuclear deterrent, because no matter how independent people insist Trident is, while it requires American delivery systems then it is not truly independent. This will be mouth-wateringly expensive and we also lack the technological capability to do this, unless we collaborate with the French.

Clearly though no one will be dumb enough to trust or rely on the US going forward. No one can rely on a country that casually breaks its word and its Treaty and Trade Agreements. Doesn’t matter if a future US is fascist or a liberal paradise. You can’t trust them is the lesson the rest of the world will take to heart.

Ye but the lowest of any president since…. Himself in 2016 at 40%, currently he’s at 47%, that will go down rapidly after Liberation day.

If there aren’t any secret discussions going on to work out how to install an alternative to Trident on the new Dreadnought subs under construction, our government is failing in its number one priority of keeping the country safe.

The big demo planned for 5 April will tell us a certain amount about the opposition to Trump. Meanwhile, there are many smallish/medium sized demos taking place around the country. Immigration is still a big plus for him in Maga land, but doubts may be creeping in on grocery prices etc. If sanction costs are passed on that will add to unease but many companies bought supplies ahead of the normal ttable. = Lag.

Ye but once immigration is solved and they’ve got no one too work shite jobs unless they use their 14 year old kids, then they may well turn.
