Priced out? | Club announce that matchday tickets being reduced by up to 43% (p93)

Why slag off city fans as your MO? I have no idea where you most likely sit, but you are getting very toxic and divisive, and blame every other fan but yourself.

The south stand from 111 to 119 was quite vocal that day, no matter what the WUMS say, If we had won you would not be crying.

It is a shame success determines support.
Having a bit of craic about the atmosphere against Brighton that everyone has acknowledged (apart from you) as woeful is hardly attacking fellow Blues. Respected posters have said it was the worst in recent memory.

Your MO is shit stirring but I don’t worry about that. If I’ve said said something divisive then take a look in the mirror.

This forum is full of people who couldn’t raise a chant against Brighton. I along with a few nippers outsung the South Stand. I guess they was all the fault of Norwegians, South American and Chinese!
I'm not blaming them for wanting to come and watch on their phone, it's what they want to do.

I'm just highlighting an extreme example to contrast against those who arrive from the south regularly, who post on a niche forum about the fucking club FFS, somehow construing that this is about them. I've also sat near day trippers who were silent and probably not from too far from the ground.

In the little corner I was in at Brighton, it wasn't that bad bizarrely, I must have been in a bubble, but it has been bad. It has been especially bad when there are no "legacy" fans, you know the ones who actually care about and love the club in a manner that cant be replaced by someone who pays more.

Anyone who posts on this forum is a legacy fan and the club want you gone.

Local, or at least legacy, people sat together in an affordable all season ticket area, postcode priority, disabled parking, concessionary prices. They will have mass gaps when it dips and we've all fucked off.

What the fuck has that got to do with anything? If you don't understand the reference then you're more fucking stupid than people on here give you credit for :)
It was a bit of gag given your obsession with tourists. Yes I assume it’s a reference to the 1970 World Cup

There’s all sorts who post on here mate and I agree with you that an are diehards. It’s personal preference and I know why the term “legacy fan”
Is widely used but I sort of see it as an acceptance of defeat. Not by you but generally. I still think the diehards are the lifeblood of the club but the Directors certainly don’t recognise that atm.

I guess the atmosphere was better than I recognised in some parts of the grounds. The acoustics have a strange affect:

You don't know that do you? All I see is you constantly have a go at blues and support tourists.

It's like you work for the fucking club or something :)
I’d prefer there to continue to be local families in the ground and Manc youths. That’s the best for sustainability and the corporates can have their sky platform.

I saw the full 35 years without trophies. The bad times weren’t that bad IMO.

I stand in 119, which i love, but i look around at my section, 118/117 and loads don't sing, young lads silent!! WTF !!!

My MO is telling the truth, but it upsets the Walter Mitty types. Respected posters? They need to make an effort themselves, rather than complain about other fans saying "it looks bad on the telly".

I remember Cheeseman and Parker slagging of the atmosphere after a game, but neither opening their mouths normally during one.

I can see where my point could be seen as just having a go at people coming from abroad and tbh my worst experience was the Norwegian who kept bumping into me and staring like he wanted to fight. The others just sat there.

Youre right that it sounds defeatist. But I think if you tweak it's meaning slightly, that Norwegian steroid user, for example, could become a legacy fan who has passion and love for the club, moreso than a family from the home counties who come once for a look.

And from a directors perspective, cradle to grave fans like that who stay good or ill, buy the odd top and bring actual atmosphere are more valuable. Because without them the non-legacies don't get the experience that draws them in in the first place.

This to me is a bigger issue than the pricing.
I can handle a bit of an increase in price (appreciate that some can not) but the sterile atmosphere we have is what will stop me going eventually.
I was sat at the Brighton game and said to the person next to me I could have watched it at home and it would have been exactly the same.
Whose to blame though? Not the tourists, its the hard core City fans or the young lads who can't be arsed singing, we"ve WON EVERYTHING and apathy has set in.

The character you try to play on here is one of being a super fan. Maybe you are or maybe your support is average. We have to take responsibility for the lack of atmosphere in the ground. The Barca, Bolton and PSV fans running our club won’t do our singing for us.
