PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Eccles , you don’t need to explain or justify yourself to some of the idiots on here. We remember what it was like 50”s/ 60’s with people going to both grounds.
The 50’s maybe but not the sixties.
I recall abuse Bert received from rags at Maine Road for a friendly game of some sort. Caused havoc in the scoreboard end behind the goal.

Is it not possible we’ve made it clear in the last few hearings about the tyrany of the majority & voting for illegal rules, targeting of City & seen it well received by the panel. It seems a perfect way to respond to recent story that Cliff is arrogant & thinks he runs the league.

City are facing 115 charges and had to go to arbitration to rectify issues over the APT case so how can anyone can argue that City run the PL. The issues which these recent reports about yesterday's meeting highlights is the schism in the league

It is squarely in my soft signal category. Not determinative but the last person you would send if you thought a poor result was imminent is the key lawyer. And frankly, I doubt he would fancy going. For example the current CFO, Ingo Bank could easily go alone. Or Ferran.
In your opinion, to what extent can Man City now accurately predict the outcome of the case based solely upon their experience of being in the court room itself?

First two episodes are well worth a listen, culminating in the Aguero goal. The last two episodes regarding the charges are very one sided and superficial. Basically it’s a reporter from Der Spiegel setting out the case for the prosecution and slagging off CAS.
Think I’ll give it a miss then, you would think a licence fee funded broadcaster would be more balanced. Did it go back to our bribery scandal 100 years ago?

The most disappointing aspect was Myrie didn’t challenge the Der Spiegel guy on any of his allegations. It seemed as if Myrie didnt want to be accused of being a biased City fan and just let the reporter get away with making outlandish comments without any pushback. If Myrie had just read the CAS report and pointed out the genuine reasons why they had found in City’s favour it would have made for better balance

Love Clive Myrie but in this instance he genuinely hasn't got all the facts at hand to rebuff anything, he'll come into his own when we are exonerated.

He hasn’t got the facts and obviously he was hampered in that City haven’t made their defence public. But if he’d simply read the CAS report and used that to challenge the Der Spiegel guy on some of his dismissive comments it would have added a bit of balance
