He also refused a couple of shots at goal.Took the wrong option with passing instead of shooting.
Did well though.
KDB controlled the second half brilliantly for us and Gundoghan and O'Reilly did great as well.
O'Reilly our player of the tournament so far.

I would guess he was instructed to keep,the ball and prevent turnovers in possession. Passing not shooting when shooting isn’t his strong point would be his thinking and as we saw the game out probably the right decision.

We were nowhere near as bad in the first half as some would make out and if the the big and daft lad would have been on it the games done but he wasn’t and you just knew after the pen they would score.

The old lags all put a decent shift in so Pep’s selection worked.

I am trying to work out whether Grealish not taking goal scoring opportunities was ridiculous or really contributed to the game management. Grealish had at least two attempts to bolt goals in at his own will. But he chose not to.

I think he's consciously removed it from his game.
