PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Without wanting to derail the thread… it seems pretty inconceivable that Giggs was described as an ex City player.

Probably one for the media thread.
This thread couldn't be more derailed if it tried (feckin barms or muffins)
Yes one for the media thread.
And yes he was described as an ex city youth player, by the media during a period of his bail time.
So really not that inconceivable as it was stated

There’s a vibe going around in media circles that we are likely to be cleared - based upon an interpretation of City’s unwavering confidence and may be the PL starting to get a little defensive - post APT defeat. No one knows anything definite but there’s a shift in tone from the inevitability of our guilt to we are likely to be cleared of all the serious charges, the media climb down has started, safe for a few who can never accept our innocence.
Can you give me examples of this shift in tone or media climb down recently?

Genuine question, I haven't noticed any, but I only read City Twitter accounts and this forum really

True - I don’t know why I would be worried about derailing a derailed thread.

I still find it pretty inconceivable that Ryan Giggs was referred to as an ex City player rather than an ex United player though.

Anything is possible and always more than happy be proven wrong - any examples stick em in the media thread.

It is a fake news site which can’t be trusted.

So much form the much touted view that the verdict was coming during the international break, still theres another break in June isnt there.

It was always bollocks. The panel don't care about anything other than documenting the right decision properly when they are ready.

And there is no way the PL is sitting on it and announcing when they like.

We just have to wait a while longer.

That website is a jokeshop. A collection of clickbait nonsense crayoned by 17 year olds for Red Cartel fans from around the globe.

With this constant drip feed of perceived guilt to all of the knuckle draggers from the cartel clubs, then when we are found not guilty on all charges the meltdown will be akin to all of the Democrat voters not believing that they lost the US election after the left wing press kept telling them they were going to win day after day - you've heard of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) well, get ready for CDS (City Derangement Syndrome), that is, if it isn't here already.

It seems anyone can make money online talking shit. These are not even good podcasters/Yooutubers.
One the one hand, easy access to social media could be seen as a good thing.

On the other, it means content creators don't have to do the hard yards of more traditional journalists, who've learned their craft from the bottom up, building contacts, etc. But when you remember those hard yards produced the likes of Delaney & Harris, I'm not so sure.

Right, have something to get off my chest

All we are 'guilty' of is having an owner wanting to invest his own equity in to a business he owns. From the offset we have seen rules that were originally intended to alleviate debt problems in European football, used as a tool to clip the wings of ambitious owners wanting to compete with the elite. Every step of the way these rules have changed in line with our growth, simultaneously ensuring there will never be another like us.

If we have been 'creative' to allow our owner to spend his own money (not a crime) to better his asset, so be it. I'd rather we had done this than tow the line to the bent bastards who wanted us ruined - like Newcastle are having to now (watch Isak be cherry picked by one of them in the next year). The sport is about competing, it's the way taht clubs like Real, Bayern, Barca, United, Liverpool, Milan etc etc originally joined the top table, they just happend to be fortunate to be there when the TV money started rolling in.

We as a club, have never caused international outrage by killing fans of the opposition in a European Cup Final, engineered the break up of the old Football League to create the PL, or again with the Super League in 2021 for financial gain. We've never met in restaurants in New York to decide how we can prevent other clubs competing with us, & finally, we've always be more than happy to let our best players & personal join our rivals if they so wish, as we trust our own model. A model incidentally that everyone of the bent fuckers now try to imitate.

So whenever you read articles that live off the clicks of those that demand our downfall, or indeed have said people give you shit for supporting City - remind them of the above.
