Roll call for 9 minute protest

Why is a 9 minute protest on the concourse at the start of the Leicester game going to cost City a CL place?

This thread and the reasoning and arguments against the protest get more desperate and unhinged by the hour.

Seriously. If you don't support the protest, which is your right, why are you posting on this protest thread?

Go to the match and hopefully enjoy a win. Don't worry about a 9 minute protest on the concourses.

When we get to the terraces we will give Pep and the players our total support for 81 minutes + injury time.

That's what I was saying mate, it won't, I was responding to a comment saying that they need our support, it could cost them the CL and then tickets will get more expensive as we miss out on the £125m.

I was saying they should have thought twice about their ticketing policy if they believe this 9minutes is going to affect us getting into the CL.

it would be interesting and - maybe more useful in getting fans on board re the protest - if you could put the costs of tickets for all areas at City compared with all areas at all other clubs. are we really worst than most top clubs? I genuinely think it would help
I've illustrated prices at other clubs in the thread and on X. As an example, Liverpool's top price for any game is £60. At Arsenal an adult member can watch a Category B game for as little as £43, and a Category C game (e.g. v Leicester City) from £30.

But it's a good suggestion to get comparative prices in one place and I'll do that as far as possible over the next few days.

Although it's only City's prices that directly impact us, there's still a view among fans that our prices compare favourably to our rivals, whereas in many cases they don't.

I don't know why everyone is ignoring the fact that there is also a demo at 7pm outside the Colin Bell statue? Please can you come to that?
Didn’t ignore it. In fact I said the organisers had 2 options - a demo that doesn’t affect the team and one that does - and that they chose BOTH. The demos Utd have had this season marching outside the ground had good media coverage so I will never understand why we are pulling this 9 minute stunt.

And it’s not 9 minutes - it will be 20 + before people are in their seats.

I support everything this protest is about - but the minute you start pulling stunts that affect the team then I’m not interested.

And I hope the organisers aim all their anger at Khaldoon, Mansour and Abu Dhabi. Don’t be shitting out and blaming others - make sure you blame the owners. I’m sure your new media mates will be all over that and give you even more coverage.

Support them, there are many fans worried that they are on the brink of not being able to support their team, their team they have supported for decades, the team they kept afloat by attending at our worst. Just because you are alright Jack doesn't mean City's approach is acceptable and their treatments of fans. How did you start going? With your Dad maybe?

? If the way City behave has no impact on you then you are lucky, but sit quietly in that case and don't preach to many a supporter who is worried about the state of our club
presumptious by you as you know nothing about me. How I manage to save up for my tickets is my business but doesn't make me 'alright Jack'

I'm not preaching - you are. I'm just defending my right not to agree with you

I think it would be very helpful because even comparing City's price of £60 with Arsenal Cat B game is not like for like. For eg it would be interesting to compare all clubs most expensive and cheapest tickets. I only mention it because there are many emotive comments on here - bordering on accusing and belittling other fans who dare to question the comments - or indeed - want to support the club at a time it really is needed for the players
Thanks again for your help

A balanced view is thinking that £60 plus for an adult home ticket as the cheapest ticket, for most premier league matches it a lot of money. A balanced view is thinking that with a stand expansion, should come new season tickets for the fans. A balanced view is not wanting to partner with rip off sites that takes them tickets off proper blues and puts in unknowns into them seats, yet if you want a United ticket from City you have to have a history of games etc, you pay a bit more via viagogo or such like and you could be sat next to a rag who was able to pay more. A balanced view is not wanting to be surrounded by Madrid fans every time we play them, with no instruction to stewards to remove such fans. A balanced view is not wanting 4 kits a season released at massive prices. A balanced view is not wanting yearly season card increases. A balanced view is not wanting large parts of our away allocation going to these dodgy sites and lifelong blues missing out. A balanced view is wanting a bit of transparency from the club.
Lager lager lager lager...

So are the other 8 deals being kept or letting lapse so the club have one centralised deal/site in place for hosp/resale? (which would make sense)
