Elite players win honours and the honours won are a documented fact whilst your engaging in pure guesswork about off the field activities. And for me the next City signing who wins 3 Premier Leagues and a Champions League in their first 3 seasons can drink as much and shag as many Miss Worlds as he likes.
You can drink and shag who and as many times as you want if you produce on the field, just look at a certain Kyle Walker. Horrible man for me away from the pitch but from the day he walked through the door a warrior and magnificent player on it.

David Silva another, liked a drink did Dave, no one other that those close to him would have any idea but again another that produced every game, even when a horrible situation with his newborn son occurred he produced incredible performances.

Grealish was superb as said from the October International break to the last weeks of the season in the treble season and rightly enjoyed the celebrations all summer long, but do you honestly think he has ever got back to those levels since?

He hasn't and hence why Pep lost trust and why he will leave in the summer.

Scott Carson won 4 titles and a Champs league in his first 5 seasons.

No problem, it's all about opinions, I have never known a player that causes so much division since Rodney Marsh.

Grealish was superb for 6 months in the treble season but apart has simply not produced consistently, 1 PL goal in a year for an attacking player in our side is simply not good enough.

We shall indeed agree to differ

Bizarre post. You cite Pep not playing Grealish this season whilst completely omitting that Grealish was picked by Pep for the 3 seasons when 3 PLs and the CL were won.

City have won more when Grealish has played and lost more when he hasn't so I've no idea what criteria you're using for suggesting he hasn't produced on the field for the majority of his time here - stepovers or ball juggling skills perhaps?

Football moves on and if it's decided its best to go more direct to get the most out of Haaland then so be it

But it's really, really odd the disrespect shown on this thread to a member of City's treble and historic 4 in a row winning teams with people just posting the same thing over and over and over again; Real Madrid fans may be able to criticise their CL winning teams but I don't think fans of any other club can without starting to appear fucking ridiculous.

If the inference is that Grealish made no contribution to the successes then can you explain why the CL wasn't won before he signed when there wasn't a player making no contribution in the team, why the CL was won when he signed with a player making no contribution hindering things and when we will next win the CL now it's quite likely Grealish will be leaving and thus not hindering things in the future?

I can’t really blame him for not making an impact once coming onto the pitch. He’d probably been bored to sleep on the bench for 70 minutes prior.
Unfortunately it was a game that probably needed about 5 subs all at once. Hard for one to make a difference when the whole setup wasn't working.

You know that makes sense, might explain why Doku was shit too.
