Gary Coterill is clueless
What qualifications do these people have to lecture us on football?

If these guys were blokes down the pub, they couldn't show their faces, they get stuff wrong so much. What qualifications do these people have to lecture us on football?
TNT also with Rio Ferdinand etc, Ric.Neville desperately screaming “penalty!” when Dias slipped and the ball hit his chest shows just why Sky really shouldn’t have him on United duty, or Carragher on Liverpool games. It’s like fan TV. Any veil of neutrality slips at times and they show their true colours. Sadly, Sky seemingly don’t care or just want to appease certain clubs/fanbases.

A lot of rags/dips can't think for themselves and need uncle gargoyle or uncle spitty to hold their hand. Surplus to requirements if you have eyes and a brain.Neville desperately screaming “penalty!” when Dias slipped and the ball hit his chest shows just why Sky really shouldn’t have him on United duty, or Carragher on Liverpool games. That sums it up wellNeville is moaning about what football has become obviously its all peps fault.
Haaland, salah, kane have broke all type of goal scoring records. Teams have scored 90+ goals without strikers. He was moaning that we need more mavericks to make things happen. The reason we don't have more mavericks is the level of opposition players are alot better than in his day. I bet even Henry would not post his numbers and be able to score some of the goals like he did.
You need 95 pts to win leagues most seasons, I think united won a league with 79 one year.
The football of today is the result of it becoming alot more professional, detailed.
I personally think football today is much higher quality. The best match I have ever witnessed was city 2-1 Liverpool game. Not because there were tackles flying in as most pundits think you need to do, it was both teams played pretty much perfect football, the quality of that match was unmatched.
Other teams are trying to get to that level and I think overall it's good to see.
The so called prem league golden era see arsenal make 1 champions league final and fuck all else, united a stuffy win in 1999 and 2008, Liverpool stuffy win 2005. At least when city and Liverpool won recently you can say they were the best teams in Europe.
I regular watch maths from 90s 00s on sky, and they are no where near the same quality as today.
I don't know, everyone has said what a poor league it is this season as a defence mechanism to Liverpool winning it. The football of today is boring, certainly watching us is. I said it whilst top of the league this season too so nothing new. Tactically it is as detailed as ever but I agree to an extent with him about players being petrified of being an inch out of position, nobody willing to take a risk and that is why you can see our slow boring play. To create anything we need an eye of the needle type ball, a peak KDB could do it and you see the impact it has when he is older and others cannot do it. The perfect goal cannot be scored. The game does need mavericks, it is what we all fell in love with the game with I am sure. Kinky, Silva, Bernarbia, Berkovic, SWP, these forward thinking players, not worried about losing the ball and bringing a bit of excitement to the game. It isn't Peps fault that everybody has tried to copy him, but looking at us it needs to evolve. Centurion season wasn't like this, that was fast, direct, powerful and exciting football. Football moves and we need Pep to move with it this time, him not setting the pace and setting that change might be what he is trying to work out and best way to combat it.Neville is moaning about what football has become obviously its all peps fault.

I get it but it's just the result of good analysis is to counter the possession style pep football, it gets the best results against us.Think the point he is making is the bus or low block is it always used to be just against City. Now teams play this system against 'smaller' teams so more games are now getting boring
I'd go even further and say the whole broadcast was a rag love-in. I tuned in about 20mins before ko and all i heard was united this united that. MUTV was probably less biased.Neville desperately screaming “penalty!” when Dias slipped and the ball hit his chest shows just why Sky really shouldn’t have him on United duty, or Carragher on Liverpool games. Some teams, especially United, have resorted to ultra defensive tactics with two blocks of five defenders and a long hoofball in the hope of scoring on the counter attack. Leicester did this against us, and wasted time, even when they were 2-0 down. These sort of anti-football teams are in a minority. Some of the football played this season by Liverpool (early on), Brighton, Forest, Bournemouth, Fulham, Palace, and especially Villa, has been fantastic. City are still an attacking side which scores plenty of goals but too many of our players are burned-out. We will be back next season. Neville is a total dickhead who can't get over the fact that his club has been left behind.Think the point he is making is the bus or low block is it always used to be just against City.
