When is the club next meeting with the supporters reps and how long do we feel they are going to stretch these discussions out
The next meeting with City Matters is this Thursday. We have heard nothing from the club and very little from CM since their first meeting last Thursday. Fair play to
@Alex - City Matters though for publicly releasing his opening remarks from that meeting, reckon he's spot on with everything here:
But it is incredibly frustrating that we don't have a clue what to expect, what was discussed, or if we're getting any minutes. This isn't CM's fault of course, just another example of the lack of transparency that is a feature of our club's style of "fan engagement".
I saw this fairly detailed post from one of the foodbank lads about that, which was quite interesting:
As it stands, there is no fan action planned for Palace, I imagine because everyone is waiting to hear what happens at this Thursday's meeting. Obviously this only plays into the club's hands, so I hope we hear something (something positive!) on Thursday ASAP. If not, I bet the anger of supporters will only grow, especially as it will feel for all those thousands of people who took part vs Leicester that they're being ignored, yet again.
The amount of people that took part on Wednesday, was bigger than anyone thought it would be. And you can't just put that down to people who didn't have a clue what was going on, I saw loads of flyers on the concourse and the fact that people were chanting "stick your viagogo up your arse" and "we want our city back" (obviously referencing the community feel it used to have, not the shite performances!) makes me think that way more people were clued up on it than would have you believe.
I'd definitely be up for another one of these 9min concourse waits before the end of the season, to hammer home the point if City don't listen.. I bloody hope they do though.
