Roll call for 9 minute protest

Bearing in mind the absolute arrogance of football clubs somehow ignorant (Willfully ignorant more like) that fans aren't happy about the price hikes in football in general.

FAN "The prices are too high"

OWNER "Nobody mentioned anything"

FAN "You going to do anything about it?"

OWNER "Next season maybe if possible"

It's a great big fuck you and we know it :)

When is the club next meeting with the supporters reps and how long do we feel they are going to stretch these discussions out

City Matter went on strike before the mmeting, I'm presuming if they felt no progress was made they would have again.

Not just at City fans are getting grief. Leeds, who you wouldn't think would get that many tourists given their recent history, are trying to get rid of loyal fans too.

They should keep up the pressure while the fans have given them some momentum. Refuse to discuss anything else on the agenda until this is sorted and 1894 should increase the length of the protest at each game until it's done.

None of this "the club said they would look at it and get back to us shortly" bullshit. It's probably just stalling anyway.

Their season ticket prices for next season, whether they get promoted or not, are creeping up to our levels and more expensive than Liverpool’s. They’ve put prices up 15%.

Wholesale action across the country is needed: not taking seats at the start of games; second half walkouts; full boycotts… country-wide action in the same weekend will make a huge impact.

I agree unless supporters get together we're fucked. It's a totally bizarre approach by clubs and it's now obvious as every club seems to be doing it ( Barring Bradford) that it's a planned strategy.

It definitely feels like they're all in cahoots (apart from the odd exception - Bradford as you mention, Brentford too) behind the scenes to piss off fans as much as possible. I can picture it now: "Right Fulham - it's your turn next week to come up with something outrageous that winds the fans up!"

Judging by their prices I think they've already done it.

The next meeting with City Matters is this Thursday. We have heard nothing from the club and very little from CM since their first meeting last Thursday. Fair play to @Alex - City Matters though for publicly releasing his opening remarks from that meeting, reckon he's spot on with everything here:

But it is incredibly frustrating that we don't have a clue what to expect, what was discussed, or if we're getting any minutes. This isn't CM's fault of course, just another example of the lack of transparency that is a feature of our club's style of "fan engagement".

I saw this fairly detailed post from one of the foodbank lads about that, which was quite interesting:

As it stands, there is no fan action planned for Palace, I imagine because everyone is waiting to hear what happens at this Thursday's meeting. Obviously this only plays into the club's hands, so I hope we hear something (something positive!) on Thursday ASAP. If not, I bet the anger of supporters will only grow, especially as it will feel for all those thousands of people who took part vs Leicester that they're being ignored, yet again.

The amount of people that took part on Wednesday, was bigger than anyone thought it would be. And you can't just put that down to people who didn't have a clue what was going on, I saw loads of flyers on the concourse and the fact that people were chanting "stick your viagogo up your arse" and "we want our city back" (obviously referencing the community feel it used to have, not the shite performances!) makes me think that way more people were clued up on it than would have you believe.

I'd definitely be up for another one of these 9min concourse waits before the end of the season, to hammer home the point if City don't listen.. I bloody hope they do though.
