Wrexham thread

Because National to Championship is easy enough with investment due to how close they all are in revenue. Small investment boosts you significantly. The Championship is full of massive investment and parachute payments. They are nowhere near big enough to support that level long term and they don't have the money to compete through outside investment.

Neither do Bournemouth...neither did Luton, anything is possible.

If they don't do it first time you're absolutely correct.

But crap teams can go straight up based on momentum. Clough once said "Football is a beautiful game, and should be played beautifully"

I prefer "Football is a stupid game and should be played stupidly"

Getting promoted from lower leagues is not a problem if you can spend £20+ million, however thier budget in championship will be nowhere enough to compete at the top not sure if they will be able to stay up either

It's been quite a journey they've been on. If they manage to hold on to second place, is that three consecutive promotions (5th tier to Championship)?

They’re probably about on schedule. If they could sustain a season in the championship they could push on. That first season would be extremely tough though.

What a journey though.
