Chuffed for Wrexham and the owners , just amazed at the difference in the medias reaction when compared to the hatred for our owners !!! Wonder what the difference is ??

I think they’ll go up next year too. Their test will be league 1.Well done, Wrexham.
We thought we had a shit time of it in the '90s, but the Red Dragons have been out of the football league for 15 years.

Yeah, that’s not Ryan and Rob’s fault, obviously. They are who they are and they’ve done a fantastic job at Wrexham after many false dawns for the club and supporters.Chuffed for Wrexham and the owners , just amazed at the difference in the medias reaction when compared to the hatred for our owners !!! But it does chaff that their investment and transfer dealings are largely seen differently to ours, even in the beginning.
Who knows if that changes, though, as they rise the tiers.

made up for them - this is their Gillingham and Wembley moment - its why we all follow a football club. Just as importantly despite all the bleating its what happens when you bring NEW money into football and don't try and secure success by means of a leveraged buy out loading the club with debt. Fair play.
On the other side I grew up in Middleton son of a Blue, Grandson of a Blue and great grandson of a Blue. I was never going to be anything else but I did sometimes visit other nearby clubs and what has happened to Bury - Oldham and now the Dale does fill me with despair - I knew lads who supported these clubs and I am sure they are devastated.

I don't think they've been in a Welsh league for over 100 years.They did, then they joined in the lower tier english leagues and worked their way up.
Cardiff, Swansea, and Wrexham didn't have to join the Welsh League formed about 30 or 40 years ago (the one TNS keep winning) as they were in the Football League and Merthyr also escaped as they were in the Conference and looking for promotion to the FL.

They could have bought any club and they would have gone up. Just so happens to be Wrexham who were lucky to be chosen. Just like Salford money buys success.Ben Foster is not a non league player so why would he be there? I’ve got no interest in this media frenzy for them and their Hollywood owners
