Wrexham thread

When Pep leaves our club it won't be for more money or a better job, it will be to escape simpletons like this.

As an aside why do girls giggle at everything.
Today is Thursday
'Oh my god, giggle, laugh in a high pitched whine, is it more giggles wow giggle giggle fuckin' giggle.
The shriek tbey do is worse!

I’m from Barrow and when I read that I got all defensive for a second or two. Then I remembered why I left and calmed down again :)
The local football are doing well though. None of the players live there and they train in Salford, but still…..

I worked on the nuclear waste carrier Pacific Swan owned by Fishers in Barrow for three months in 1986 and I have fond memories of the place. I even set up a newspaper delivery for the lads onboard from a local newsagents as it was too far to walk, the guy used to drop them off in his car every morning. I have been racking my brains trying to remember the main pub we used to drink in, a big white pub in the centre I'm sure it began with a P. Actually it could have been the Imperial, bloody memory lol! It was funny as we had a black deck hand onboard also from Manchester called Stan, a real character that wore a hat everywhere. I don't think there was many black guys living there at the time and he became quite a novelty around town.

I worked for Fishers after I got laid off from the shipyard in ‘92! I was a nightwatchman in the docks guarding a few hundred aluminium anodes from local thieves. Great company to work for and I met some real ‘gents’ who treated you with respect.
I know the Imperial very well - they used to have a lager in there called Slalom; absolutely bloody awful stuff :)

Yes good pub, I think it's a hotel now.

Paul Mullin has caused a bit of stir across the border…
