Is the, sadly, correct answer. He’d just pardon all involved anyway.
The MAGA shills have long ago given up any vestige of probity.

I was wondering that. Its almost like he doesn't have clue what he's doing.
Perish the thought! Its almost like he doesn't have clue what he's doing.
It’s an utterly shit move. Everyone is now wary and distrustful of the US. How can that be a fucking masterstroke ffs? Fucking clown.BBC challenging a talking head (chairman of Great Hill Capital, not sure who they are) tried claiming what a Trump masterstroke it was that everyone is now relieved about only having 10% tariff.
Yeah, I'm sure the big cheeses in finance are totally fooled and happy about that 10%.

It’s looking that way.As I said in another thread, he's treating the US economy as his personal pump-n-dump mechanism.
The king of piss. Let's have it right.American beer is piss.
Happened quicker than I thought. Only said that 6 hours ago.I predict a Trump declaration of victory based on some spurious nonsense within a month followed by a suspension of most tariffs. Meanwhile the rest of the world will be planning to reduce their dependence on the US both militarily and economically and there will be just one long term loser.
Yep. Someone elsewhere mentioned that it was like he won the world election rather than the American election.Somebody high up has made tens of millions today. It's blatant manipulation.
‘Blinked’ suggests an absence of prior knowledge.Stock markets surged after Trump made his announcement - the president appears to have blinked, writes Natalie Sherman in New York
Last time i was in Florida, we were shopping in Walmart and the beer aisle was full of Coors lite, Bud lite and other woeful products including HeinekenAmerican beer is piss.
There can be an upside to tariffs, especially if you think of them like subsidies. The other thing they do, of course, is to raise revenue for the government, whilst lowering domestic consumption.I was wondering that.
What benefits are there to the USA in increasing tariffs?
I imagine raised tariffs will inevitably increase the the cost of imported goods with additional tariff surplus's going to the US Government, which will inevitably increase the cost to the consumer. Logically this in turn will/might affect (reduce) demand therefore the supply will reduce which in turn will reduce the income to the US Government. A reverse effect will be felt on US exports.... the cost to sell US goods abroad will increase and therefore the demand is likely to decrease.... ergo less less income for the US.
Can anyone identify an upside to tariffs and especially the principle of the benefits of increasing them?
Thanks
Donald
He'll come out with some bullshit similar to the Ukraine ruSSia war being stopped in a dayQuite.
I look forward to someone asking what he meant by permanent tariffs when they lasted less than a week. My guess is that the reply will be that he doesn't recall using that term.
Investigation by who? Much like the signal leaks they'd be investigating themselves.D'ya reckon at sometime in the future there will be an investigation into insider trading on the back of manipulated markets.... I mean it's a prime opportunity for anyone who has the power to move markets so significantly in such short spaces of time. Day trader types.
