To be fair I do think the protest made a big difference and is the reason why prices were frozen.

The club clearly do care when pr and media isn’t going there way. The full scale boycott is only round the corner

Expect price increases elsewhere to make up for the 'freeze'.

The owners only care about maximising profits and the image of the City Group.

They don't give a shit who sits in the ground as long as they pay top money for tickets. I suspect they'd even scrap season tickets if they thought they'd get away with it in the media.

Scrap season tickets they wouldn't get 15k for Villa at home at those prices, that's why glam CL ties are often half the price of the Villa game. £35 as opposed to £71 in SS1.
 
The club should also be made to reassess Cityzens Matchday Membership. Having to pay a £35 fee for a chance to buy match tickets is not ethical especially when there is no guarantee of getting to see Liverpool, United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs. It's just another con to add to the £150 Flexi Gold fiddle. I don't think we are cheats regarding the 115 allegations but I think Cityzens Matchday and Flexi Gold members are being cheated out of hard earned money. I love the team and the club but I am beginning to despise the hierarchy. There is a complete disconnect between senior management and none hospitality fans.

True but without the protest that was clearly visible worldwide, picked up by all the media outlets and embarrassed the club, with the threat of further escalation, I doubt they would have listened. Next we have to sort out the ridiculous pricing for matchday tickets.

That's why they'll jump at joining a Super League at every opportunity. It will provide a chance to restructure ticketing prices, allocations etc through viagogo.

Football tourists probably put more money into top PL clubs more at one match than the average season ticket holder does all season.

That is very sad but also unfortunately so true. The business side of football just wants revenue and doesn't care about long time supporters.

A bit unfair even if right in principle. Nothing wrong with a bit of back slapping when something, anything is achieved in the face of obduracy.

Keep up pressure, certainly. Personally, I think this is all that could have been achieved at this time. Pressure from the owner to sort it out balanced with letting Soriano save face. Let's face it, Soriano is a management consultant, he won't do anything without expensive studies and surveys anyway. So, expect plenty of those before next season ....

When it happens, make sure you fill them in correctly, everybody. Maybe replies should be suggested on here so they get the right message often enough.

That's a good move that we didn't do. Personalise it in the press. Stories of long-time blues who can't go, can't go where they want, can't sit next to people they have been going with long term, families that can't sit together.

Make it easy for the press.

Tactical negotiation 101, of course. Start with something the other party won't accept and then settle for what you would have accepted in the first place anyway.

Still, at least people should know Soriano shows no good faith now. Fans shouldn't be seen as a hostile counter-party.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what the metrics are if that's how you feel. If I'm honest, the last few seasons (probably since Covid) have probably been the least enjoyable ever for me in terms of attending the match and the way I feel about the club.
