Rate The Drinks And Food (Prices) At The Etihad

Yesterday was terrible.

Beet OK no complaints but the 'food' terrible.
The pie, well the meat was OK but burning, the pastry was like concrete it could be used as, foundations for the new stand.
The garlic chips were nice but served in a cardboard box. This leaked all down your clothes. But worse it dripped onto the floor and one of other mates nearly went arse over tip as he slipped on it.
Putting my H&S head one garlic sauce on painted concrete floor is going to be slippery.

The prices for food are expensive, but £5.75 for a pint of Guinness is decent (it’s over £7 in some pubs/bars in Town now… Manchester is more expensive than London for pints!).

Staff seem to have been trained much better this season.

They seem much friendlier and happier to be there than I’ve noticed before. And apart from one girl who had no idea what Bovril was at the start of the season, they are more ‘on it’ and helpful with their service n’all.

Those little devices that are supposed to scan our phones for our season ticket are struggling to recognise anything and the team leader has a card they just scan for us now so everyone is getting their season ticket discount.

And the staff are actively asking if we have season tickets now as well whereas before they weren’t.

I still always head straight to the Northern Soul Grilled Cheese stall pre match.
Dan and has colleagues are always really sociable and the food never disappoints.
Now that I've sussed out what you can do with the "extras" on the menu, you can basically construct your own sandwich. The "Motherclucker" with added jalapenos is my current favourite.

City Football Group (CFG) and Oak View Group (OVG) have today announced the launch of Eastlands Venue Services, a new joint venture to create a fully integrated service and operations company.

The joint venture will operate 365 days-a-year across the Etihad Campus, with an initial focus on catering services for both Manchester City Football Club and Co-op Live arena.

Looking at the prices the arena was charging the other night for the darts, City are almost giving it away in comparison.

One guy was Tweeting his receipt for a pint of Morertti and a single Vodka & Coke. £24 I think it was.

It's known in the trade as a double top shelf.

I tried it once after the rave reviews and found it way too greasy and underwhelming

The last food I ate at a match was the hotdog 3 seasons ago, lass asked me if I wanted onions and I said yes only to find that it was that crispy shit they sell in packets.

Not eating at the Eithad again, philistines.
Usually eat away from the ground but it took us three hours of shit traffic to get through from north wales for the Leicester game bought two hot dogs £7 each got onions, dried crispy salad ones scraped em off won’t be buying any in the future !
