Plonkers like you think he goes out of a night supping cups of tea. I can't be arsed arguing the toss with you anymore tbh.
No I don't at all. I know he gets a lot more coverage if it is ever him doing it. Just like at the parades, Carson barely able to stand up, Stones slurring his words what was all over the papers? Jack being pissed when they all were ballooning. It's fine, many a blue have a one track mind over him and had it the day he signed, pointing to incidents years before joining us shows that whilst probably lauding our dick swinging captain.

Players are allowed to get drunk at end of season parades. Grealish has a history of getting drunk and getting caught out when he should be at home supping cocoa like most other top class disciplined professional footballers do. I want to read about him in the news for his football displays not read about his boozed up antics.

As for Walker great player on the pitch but I can't respect his womanising as a married man.

Yes but who got all of the press and spotlight on being pissed when everybody was pissed? Only one man and got negative attention around it, proving the point that he is singled out when he does it. If you don't think any other player gets pissed during the season then we will have to agree to disagree on it. The last one he was at a social club and got the beers in for everyone on his time off, yet it is reported on negatively. Balotelli is someone who produced very little on the pitch but is a cult hero for being a balloon off it. Not just the womanising from Walker, he was another breaking lockdown rules, parties at his house whilst swinging his dick out in public. He was allowed to play weekly despite all of his antics.

Alongside Rico Lewis, the worst player in the team this season. Rico was from the youth team and is on 1/10 of the salary. For me Jacks been a disgrace for two years now, also The reason he deserves more hate than he gets (I don’t feel good saying that btw) is because there’s people blaming Pep and his football philosophy for how shit this lad has been. When idiots say “pep ruined football” “pep kills individual talent” they always cite Jack as an example of why they believe that. Grealish was a big fish in a small pond and came to City and realised, I’m not technically or statistically as good as these Actual world class players. Except for those 4 months of good form he had from Feb-May 2023. 4 months in 4 years. Peps biggest big money flop. When including time spent, opportunity given and cost of player and damage to coaching reputation.

Fuck me, the season after winning 4 league titles in a row for the first time in the history of English football having a worst player in the team competition. Entitled doesn't even begin to come close.

I guess you didn't see Ged Brannan, Nigel Clough, Danny Mills, Gerry Creaney, Neil Heaney, Craig Russell, Kit Symons, Alan Kernaghan, Danny Mills, Barry Conlon, Eike Immel, Simon Tracey,' Lee Bradbury and Steve Mcmanaman then.

If the players had the mental fragility of posters on this thread there would had been no Quadruple, no Centurions, no Treble, no Four in a Row and all that would have been won is the grand sum of FUCK ALL.

We'd have won another CL if Jack had been capable of taking one of the 3 one on ones he had with Courtois before the late semi final collapse.
3 good months in his time here. He's failed.

Explains a lot about the ultra critical ultras on this thread that they claim a game of football, let alone an entire CL campaign, rests on just a couple of moments. And the moments in question were a clearance off the line with Courtois beaten and a great save from Courtois.

When do you think we'll next have a couple of moments to win the CL again?

and halfway towards winning the CL according to the gurus on here.

Kev and Gundo are past their best and Bernardo has run himself into the ground, so yeah Grealish has looked fitter but he's not as fit as he should be nor is as disciplined as he should be hence being seen out on the lash worse for wear. Do you think Pep tells him to go out and get shit faced?

It may not overly bother you but he's not starting regular games for a reason and it's glaringly obvious he's pissed Pep off. Pep has said more than once he's not been fit to play, he's also said Jack needs to improve on scoring and assists. Jack has admitted more than once he's not playing his best. Alcohol problem perhaps?

The club should have seen the warning signs of his partying playboy lifestyle at Villa after he drove his Range Rover into a wall whilst drunk but we were hell bent on triggering his 100m buy out clause. 4 years on and we'll be lucky to get 20m for him, that's if a club win satisfy his high weekly wage demands.

There'll come a day when Grealish has retired when he realises he threw his career away at City and he only has himself to blame like I said earlier.

There is a huge irony at this moment in time, when not knowing the full facts, in assuming guilt. Just saying.

The press aren't interested in snapping pics and getting video footage of 'boring' players like Stones and Carson, they're not well known off the pitch like Grealish is. Jack is a handsome guy, a character and a lovable rogue a bit like George best was. Kids look up to him and women swoon over him. He sells papers and gets lots of web clicks and will do until he keeps himself out of the limelight. Balotelli is another who didn't live up to expectations wherever he played. Some on here think Walker being a dick swinging womaniser is ok because he's been world class for us. I say his off field antics have proved he's a dickhead who's put the club in a bad light, I'm glad he left.

Not sure you ("you" in general, not you in particular, by the way) can put any blame on the club for him wanting to shag anything in a skirt with a pulse. Or take a piss wherever he wants. Unless you're a rival fan, or a "journalist" with an agenda to peddle They can't put a minder on him 24/7. You have to trust the individual to conduct himself in an appropriate manner. Sadly, it seems he can't be trusted. I can't see him playing for us again.

I don't think it's unfair to say that had one of those chances been taken the collapse that followed wouldn't have happened. Yes the dippers would still have to beaten , guess we'll never know now either way.

I can't see Milan keeping Walker, we'll probably give him to his beloved Sheff United on a free.

You're just showing your inherent bias. It could be argued Bernardo and Jesus had better chances as both Grealish's chances were at an angle. You could mention Cancelo not knowing where neither Benzema nor the ball were for the 1st goal. Or Dias' tired tackle for the penalty.

I don't think Grealish did anything wrong for either chance and it was just one of those things; I don't think the pass to Foden was on for the first chance and Grealish beat the keeper and it was on target. And it was a fantastic save by Courtois for the 2nd chance where Grealish hit it hard and low. It was probably too early to go to the corner flag but it is ironic a goal and assist merchant lamenting Grealish going for goal. I also thought there was an element of fate with all this as for Madrid's 2nd goal 19 times out of 20 the slight flick on a couple of yards away scuppers the attacker's chance of scoring rather than being the ideal assist.

Seen them all and plenty before them. Expectations are a bit different now.

Agree. JG is not exactly peak Peter Beagrie but he doesn't help himself when he's not exactly tearing it up on the pitch. IMO, City have always had a low dickhead quota compared to other clubs (maybe Mendy, Walker, Ballotelli that were a negative influence off the pitch).

Did he fuck. He hadn't even heard of Manchester back then.

One of the things I’m actually most proud about our club is that for the most part our squad is dickhead free.

A few exceptions such as the ones you’ve listed above - and I’d remove Balotelli from that list! - but in the takeover era we’ve mostly been driven to success by very likeable, intelligent and articulate players. A stark contrast to some of the oiks that have played for our rivals.

I'd say Balotelli was a likeable dickhead, if that's possible. Setting off fireworks indoors, smoking with Chappy before training and being allergic to Kiev grass adds to his charm. I think most non-blues respect Vinny, KDB, Spanish Dave, Sergio etc compared to Rooney, Rio, Bruno F, Pogba, Lingard & Co (mind you they're not our rivals anymore). Arsenal are full of them too.

They are but then Rice seems a likeable lad, especially when getting one over Bellingham.

Think he would have suited us TBF.

My sister in law soon over Jonny Stones.
