But it’s not all good with ederson though is it . Tbh I’m abit old fashioned where id rather have a good shot stopping keeper any day of the week and also a no nonsense defender aswell but maybe im getting old .

Doubt Trafford would want be a nunber 2 , and doubt Pep would want him, not good enough with his feet if we ended up having to play him for a long period.Ideally if Ederson goes Ortega would stay as a 2, otherwise no idea who.

Costa is far closer to Onana than Ederson. If Viana see's him as a perfect replacement for ederson. we are in for a very costly and rough few years.

Someone else on here that thinks they know better. Viana did brilliantly at Sporting and Khusanov, Reis, Bah, Marmoush and Nico have been great.
