Seat Counters - 2024/25

The club will have learnt a lot in the last couple of weeks with regard to our support, and maybe they will focus on the core support a bit more as it appears the ones who have filled some gaps at Wembley have already grown bored.
Think you've been overly harsh on our fanbase with some of your posts.
No clubs support has been tested like this with trips to wembley in a 14 year time span. With semi finals and community shields it's Basically twice a year, and we still take over 20k no matter what day or kick-off time it is which is a great number considering the majority of our support are northern based.
I know a few trafford fans who tell me they usually skip semi finals and definitely skip community shields and say their large southern based support take up the tickets. We don't have their high numbers of the southern support YET.
We'll be there again along with the 20k plus, and totally understand why some decide to skip it. Would love to see how many tickets similar sized northern clubs would sell in the same situation as we are now, but we're unlikely to see that in our lifetime.
Come on CITY!

I certainly hope so.

I'd also like to see how some southern clubs, such as Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea, would cope with having to bring those numbers north on a regular basis. My hunch is that none of the community shields or semi-finals would sell out, but regrettably we will never know.

Remember Chelsea at Villa park for the community shield, they did not fill out we we took note fans to a more central venue. Villa parks holds approx 44k. So that is only 20k to each.

This is what happens when you literally squeeze the hell out of the average football fan, there's only a handful of people I know who are going because within the next few weeks we have the issue of a potential final, season ticket renewal, parking renewal etc its too much for the average Joe who has more important bills to contend with at the moment.
You can pay for your season tickets over 10 months interest free.

Awful idea,

People will just buy a £30 semi ticket and not go.

There is nowt wrong in not going to a 16:30 Sunday ko when people work and kids are back at school.

The time and day is just fucking selfish by the FA twats.
16.30 ko on a Sunday is a weird excuse. Most will be home from Wembley earlier than they are from midweek game at home.

Happy Easter. Seats are still selling.

Level 5: 2904 ( + 4200 estimate for the off-plan blocks (527-531)),
Level 2: 848,
Level 1: 2322 ,
Total unsold: 2904 + 4200 + 848 + 2322 = 10274.

Allocation: 36190

Sales: Allocation - total unsold = 25916

City may have additional seats off-plan for the team, staff and sponsors etc so this figure is likely a small over-estimate. However, I think our sales will surpass 26k today. It is difficult to know how they will proceed next week. The accumulation of sales with the sales criteria suggests that City's support at Wembley will be dominated by non-seasoncard holders. City should think about that, and so should the fans maligning so called casual supporters.

Those 'casual' supporters Marvin. Please define what they are?
I call them plaatic half and half wearing twats but that's me. Won't be there if we get found guilty re 115 so yes they are not true city fans. More likeley Haaland fans.

City have reported that 50% of seasoncard holders don't on average go to the CL games and if you look at the Villa game, which is hugely important, hundreds of season-tickets have been sold online. That suggests to me that travel and travel costs (2 different matters) are important factors in determining whether fans go to the game. Games are becoming more global and more local at the same time.

If we could go top with a win against Villa the ground would be full

Most of those Villa tickets are returns from 3rd party sites and hospitality, that's why they're all in blocks next to one another

City have not sold seasoncards for years. The non-seasoncard holders will be a mixture of fans who have been around the club for years and new fans. Some will be fans for whom seasoncards don't work because their work doesn't fit 9-5, Mon-Fri, and the fixture schedule that gets every more variable and some will be children who grew up in the Aguero years.

Fans who go to games are not plastics. According to Pep, Haaland is likely to miss all but the last few games of the league season.

Think I recall us selling around 28k for the Brighton semi in 2019 so I’d expect us to surpass that with nearly a week of sales still to go. Also, I don’t know whether anyone remembers but in the days leading up to the Brighton game a few thousand seats in the lower tier suddenly disappeared off the planner. I don’t know what City did with them but there were fans in those seats when the game took place. Maybe they’ve got a similar plan for this game ;)

The Villa game is the most important league game of the season so I don't think that's the cause. Midweek games have always been an issue for out of town City fans. Try travelling from Manchester to London on public transport after 8pm when there are no trains. This is becoming a bigger issue as time goes by. Games are switched for TV. The train companies restrict travel to profitable time, and the car is becoming more and more unpopular.

City will publish a figure of 52,000+, but in reality the actual attendance will be smaller. We're not the only club to do it and the rags definitely do it.

Funny, because in 68-69 we had three outstanding home games after winning the FA Cup and all of them were rescheduled for midweek.
Loads of people couldn't be arsed, but it just wasn't an issue
