Protest v Wolves

Pep supporting this but am sick of this "if I go to the theatre, I could pay £300" yeah but it's not 19 times or and your not got theatre in your blood form a kid! £50 for adults and £15 for under 16 should be written into the next round of deals and if the game not selling drop the fuck price of tickets get it full!
How does dropping the prices on the exchange work for those of that buy match day tickets when they go on sale in the summer. Dropping prices if exchange tickets aren't selling is not an answer.
Plus I've said before those going to 19 games aren't the ones paying £71 for games, it's those of us that go about 6 times a year in the main,so the theatre or concert thing does kind of work.
All that said I do agree match day tickets should be across the board about £10/£15 cheaper.

The first 10 - 15mins felt like that. When Rashford went clean through in 1st minute the silence must have resonated through the suits heads
oh right...........should move to kippax corner mate....never silent there. Most of us were booing Rashford all game.

That's more like it.

I think communication is key. It's hard to coordinate the masses. Felt like some weren't sure whether to continue the Leics approach or not at start of game. Outside protest was excellent and flyers hit the nail on the head. In the ground is a harder one to coordinate

Yup, people who can't afford a ticket holding on to the last day when the clubs policy is to knock the price of that ticket right down sounds a good idea.

Doubt the club would do it but it's at least a thought.

I think this is just inevitable whether we're successful or not, because of the way society/economy it going.

House prices are sky-rocketing, gone are the days when it took a few months to save a house deposit and buy your first home. Now younger people have no hope of getting on the housing ladder unless they have a windfall or their parents help.

This squeezing of the middle class is happening in every area. You either buy a really good expensive car or a cheap shit one, buy nice expensive clothes or cheap shit ones, nice expensive furniture or cheap shit furniture. It's happening in every single market from pubs to hotels, food and so on. Why is football any different?

Premier League football is a premium product. So it will happen here too and we're part way through it already.

Even Sky Sports TV is ludicrously over priced for what it is, because it's a luxury.

The situation is horrendous for people especially in lower wages. How can you work full time and not have enough money to put food on the table and therefore have to use a food bank? Some can't even put a roof over their head despite having a full time job. Society is simply broken.

Whilst protests like this highlight ticket prices at our club, it’s part of a much wider problem. As they say football is a reflection of society, not the other way round.

That's one of the many issues with All Games on Sale. It isn't fair to people that purchase a ticket 6 months earlier to drop the price, but then again there isn't really a need to sell games 6 months in advance.

But you'd be buying that ticket from the scav bin, a ticket nobody else wanted. There wouldn't be any tickets left over for big games.
Not when they go on sale in the summer, which is when they sell out originally. Doubt season card holders would be too happey if I could buy all the games at a price cheaper than a season ticket. Lets be real about this. My solution would be the price of the seast to a season ticket holder plus £10/15.

Same in any business we are no different, you want to make sure you've got a ticket for every game then get yourself a season ticket, if you can't get a season ticket and buy a ticket from the scav rack on the last day of offering for a heavily discounted price so what?

Last night was a prime example of that, those empty seats should have been shifted to blues with a supporters number with those with a logger supporter number taking priority.

This is the answer, and they used to put the tickets on sale to matchday sales when the date of the game was finalised about 5 or 6 weeks before. They also used loyalty points to have a couple of windows.
The biggest advantage was we knew whether the rearranged date and KO time was convenient, they could also adjust prices to reflect a rearranged fixture to a night game.
This is what they need to move back to, don't really understand why they moved away from it.

Most matchday buyers don't want or can't go to every game.

They don't have to go to every game, they just go to the ones that they want to go to if they are on offer, One thing is for sure they are not going to spaff £71 on a seat.

Why are you concerned about what other people pay for a ticket?

I'm concerned what I pay for a ticket, and thousands had already paid the £71 when they were originally sold. I'm not sure what you aren't understanding.

Don't pay it then? You're saying that people who are fortunate enough to have a season ticket don't want people who can't afford the games to get a cheaper ticket that is never guaranteed and is on the off chance that matches aren't sold out.

Ohh I am understanding alright.
