Kev hasn’t got another PL season in him, here or anywhere. Can’t see a PL club along a chance on him at the money he’d want. MSL would be favourite
Hasn’t he said he’s willing to take a pay cut if it means he stays at the highest level for his World Cup 26 place? Wether we like it or not i think he ends up at a top ten premier league club

When? He had a great game at Palace but couldn't tell you another game to that level. Everton he was shocking. I watched it so knew for myself he was bad, then drove after the game where he was given a 2/10 on the radio with it being declared he looks like he has forgotten how to play football. Most have looked crap yes, when you are injury prone, getting older and slower with each game then that isn't just having a bit of off form. Time waits for nobody

He was also decent against Villa and worked his arse off.

Not saying he should have stayed, just more that it might be hard to judge overall levels this season. I could definitely have seen him doing well for a year in a more stable and better performing side but at the same wage level that probably wasn't realistic.

Being decent is enough and for every decent game he has had this season (you can count on one hand) he has had 5-10 stinkers. Don't get me started on his performance at Old Trafford. Obviously love the man and he for me has been our best ever player. Too many excuses being made for him this season though.

Decent is great for mid table teams, we’re in the top 5 clubs in Europe and can’t afford ANY passengers, let alone one on £350,000k per week, who’ll miss 5 months of a season and take a valuable space up in the squad.

Time waits for no man, it’s time to move on unfortunately.

He’s been superb since coming but now it’s up to younger fresh blood to take the mantle.

And before anyone criticises this decision but keeping Bernardo and Gundogan, they’ve both played in 40 odd games this season for us, Kev has only managed 20.

Take the blue tints off mate, he’s finished at the top level. He most certainly was not decent against Villa, distinctly average would be being kind.

I'd love him to prove me wrong. People saying he hasn't got a good season left in him at this level are right, I'd suggest this season has proved it's one season too long.

Been absolutely magnificent for us, but it's time to move.

Is he still going to be with us for the Club World Cup?
His contract runs until the 1st july so he'll be eligible for the group stages. Whether or not he signs a few week extension to potentially play the whole thing if we progress is anybodies guess.

Whatever new club he ends up at probably isn't going to be too keen on him playing and maybe he himself doesn't want to put himself through that as he'll have a world cup to prepare for. But on the other hand, he might fancy the chance of lifting that trophy and going out with a bang.

Could easily see him staying a few weeks and playing and just as easily see him not featuring at all and us allowing him to go on holiday before he officially leaves. I suspect it's going to be entirely his choice.

As Jimmy Wagg would say, he’s suffering from “date of birth disease”!

Absolute legend for us, deserves to leave on his terms.

Unless he has pissed someone off at the club…

Hopefully as it's Cross it's a pile of crap.

He is leaving on his terms. He hasn't been sacked. Or even benched in his last few months of his contract.
